Adrian Hotel

Lovely hotel, lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Nice basic room but clean and had maid service. The mini bar was nice too. Really enjoyed our stay here for new year. It is in such a great location within walking distance to so many bars, restaurants, tavernas, shops and sightseeing.

Great location, easy walk to Acropolis. Also easy to find, short walk from Monstraki station, though cobblestones a bother with suitcase wheels. Rooms need a bit of maintenance but basics like water pressure and air o good. Cute balcony overlooking street. Best feature was roof top breakfast, buffet with amazing Greek yoghurt and views to acropolis. Stored our luggage well when we popped over for a night on Santorini. Lots of eateries nearby

This is a friendly hotel well situated close to the the Acropolis with lots of shops & restaurants nearby. The decor of the reasonably sized rooms is a bit dated but they’re comfortable & provide stunning views of the Acropolis or the surrounding streets depending on which side you’re in. Prices were very fair. The included breakfast is served in a rooftop setting, again with stunning views - see photo. The food was fairly standard with cereals, eggs, ham & cheese. The staff were super friendly & helpful.

Brilliant location with restaurants right across the road, historical sites next door and a short walk to Monastiraki Square. We even walked back from the Acropolis (all downhill). We had a balcony looking straight up to the Acropolis and an excellent breakfast on the terrace looking straight at the Acropolis. Smallish but very comfortable room and can definitely recommend as a base for your holiday.

When I got the reservation dates wrong for another hotel, they helped us find a room nearby. The Adrien is in a fun neighborhood with shops and restaurants and just a few blocks from the metro station. The room is simple with a balcony, queen bed, tv and air conditioner. Air conditioner is important since there’s street noise with the balcony door open. The bath is small with a shower including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap and a hair dryer in the room. This was important to us since our luggage didn’t make it. No safe. We borrowed an electrical adaptor for the European outlet from the desk. No USB ports. There is an elevator for those who need it. The breakfast on the roof was a very good buffet with good coffee, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, yogurt, cheese. Greek salad and fresh squeezed orange Jo ice. The decor is traditional with potted blooming plants and a nice view of the Acropolis. There is unobtrusive netting to keep the birds from begging. The roof is not open at night. I recommend the nearby Plaka Hotel rooftop for cocktails. Beware of pickpockets on the metro. They got my husband’s.

Located in the middle of the Plaka with really good restaurants right out front. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were quite comfortable after multiple days of a lot of sightseeing. There was a decent and respectable breakfast from the roof top with great views of the Acropolis. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again due to location and restaurants
