Well, well, well, what can i write or say about this gem. The Electra Palace Hotel, located bang in the middle of downtown Athens is absolutely superb. Everything the city has to offer is within walking distance from the hotel. The view of the Acropolis from our room is spectacular, not to mention the to "die-for" view from the 8th floor restaurant - you can "touch" the Acropolis from here!😄 The breakfast at the Electra Palace is top notch and is delicious. The service at the hotel is top notch, and one of the best I have ever experienced in over 30 years of travelling. The staff, from the concierge to the receptionists, and restaurant staff, all provided extremely high professional services. I will single out George, the receptionist, who made us feel extremely welcome with one of the biggest smiles and professional services I have ever experienced. George has a saying each time we interacted with him, and it was "each time you smile, good things will always come your way." This saying came through when George found my brand new Samsung Ear Bud after I lost it and the hotel began a whole day of searching inside the hotel and outside at the restaurants we visited. Thank you, George, you're the best. Also, Dimitris, who helped us with our luggages was fantastic. All in all, Electra Palace Hotel is a superb hotel, and we will definitely go back there.

Positives + Location: close to syntagma square (i.e., airport metro line) and within walking distance to acropolis + Breakfast: classic western all-day breakfast buffet, on the roof top with great views of the acropolis Negatives - Cleanliness: human hairs on bed sheets - Room amenities: very old and out of maintenance (e.g., bath faucet not functioning well; metal cover on the switch falls off easily) - Service: except for the concierge staff, attitude is cold otherwise (including breakfast and other interactions) - Noise: loud music with strong base rhythms outside the window until late night (11pm)

The location of the hotel is very good. There are many cafes and restaurants right next to the Athens commercial street and it is very convenient. The supermarket is also very close. The hotel room is clean and the service is good. Especially the breakfast is extremely rich and delicious. The breakfast location overlooks the Acropolis and the scenery is unparalleled. I have stayed in this hotel several times and am very satisfied

It should be classified as an old five-star hotel. After all, it is inevitable that the old city will have a sense of age. The facilities will be very old, but the scenery in the restaurant is still good.

City center, good location, good hotel for shopping and tourism

I originally chose the hotel as a rest stop, but I got a lot of surprises. The location of the hotel is great, walking distance from Syntagma Square, Plaka leisure shopping market and the Acropolis. The restaurant on the top floor of the hotel is really the best viewing platform to enjoy the night view of the Acropolis. The breakfast is also very rich and delicious and of good quality. The room was tidy and the shower was good. recommend!

The service is very good, the breakfast is great, and the hotel is located in the center of Athens, making it very convenient to go out and see the sights.

The service attitude of this hotel is very poor. When I first checked in, I asked for an impatient answer. The key environment was not as good as what was said online. The breakfast in the morning was very average. When I needed to clean it in the morning, I entered the room without permission. Will the hotel compensate for any loss of personal belongings due to any cleaning? In conclusion, this hotel is not worthy of five stars at all. It was not worth two. It was originally three days and two nights, but I stayed for one night. The money was not refunded to me the next day, so I left immediately! 

The location of the hotel is very good. It is within walking distance to the Acropolis and various attractions. It is also a few minutes' walk from the subway and bus. It is not as noisy as the hotels next to Constitution Square, so it is quiet in the bustle. I stayed here for 5 nights and was very satisfied. I will stay here again in the future.
