9月にバスツアーで宴会場を利用した時に泊まりたいと思い、誕生日に一泊しました。早めに施設に着き、併設の温泉施設で遊び、チェックイン。フロントスタッフが宿泊名簿を見て当日が誕生日と知り、フリードリンク券をプレゼントしてくれました。部屋はひとりのため山側でしたが、広くて清潔で快適。大浴場も熱海の海が見ながらゆっくり、アメニティも充実。夕食のレストランも美味しく新鮮な海の幸がたくさん。追加で注文した牛タンシチューもフォアグラも絶品。朝食の鯵の開きも肉厚でジューシー。お土産も魅力的な商品がたくさん。また「泊まりたい」と思わせるホテルでした。

I wish I could give it 5 stars! Let's start with the bad - the hotel thought of just about everything except effective soundproofing. It was unpleasant to hear the traffic at all times when in the room even with the balcony closed, but you could find a way to accept it. What really killed it was 2 evenings in a row hearing a kid running above you for .5-1 hr at a time and being woken up in the middle of the night twice because someone decided to enjoy their onsen on their balcony and was talking and laughing loudly. We stayed for 5 nights and the weekend was the worst as the hotel had a higher occupancy rate. Without that...there is no good, there is only great: - Check-in is private, seated in the lobby with welcoming refreshments - Private onsen on your balcony (in addition to the large one for all guests) - amazing! - Room accommodations very well appointed with numerous amenities and very spacious - Parking available on your room level very convenient (not all, but some... we stayed on 4th floor so even exit from garage was available on our floor) - Restaurants - we had breakfast which had great options and service, we also enjoyed a room service for dinner which offered ability to order from multiple of restaurants. We didn't have dinner in the restaurants as we didn't find the menus appealing for all in our party. - Location is great, short walk to most things you'd want to do in Atami, across the street from a beach (not a great one, but people use it) and relatively easy to get out by car (especially if you ignore GPS directions that guide to tiny streets)

After the MOA Museum of music, I stayed here. The taxi is sure to be caught once you get to the station, but if you can, it is the best to be caught at the MOA Museum of art. It is located further in the mountains through the MOA Museum of Art.The view of the dining room made the sea wide around Hatsushima. There seemed to be no restaurant nearby, so it was a splendid French that drew the best form of the great answer and the goodness of the food of the land when it was a plan for the meal. It was a great time to hit the tongue drums on the food while watching the sea and the lights of the town. The room has a hot spring and hot springs always spring. I stayed in a general room for two people on the 3rd floor of the building where the lobby is. In the middle of the night, I woke up with a strange smell. At first, I thought it was the smell of my companion's toilet, but it was not the smell of sewage coming from the sink in the toilet. It was my first experience with a sewage smell that woke me up. The smell was also coming up from the toilet sink and the washbasin in the dressing room of the adjoining room bath. Although I wrote that in the questionnaire, I received only a template greeting and a thank you email for staying. Did it just happen to be us...? I thought that, but after looking around the accommodation reviews, it seems that some people have had the same experience. I don't know the situation of rooms in other buildings and detached rooms, but please be careful if you are planning to use a general room in the lobby building. It smells great. This time, the fact that the toilet door was not closed properly was also the cause of the smell in the room. Please close the toilet door completely. If the smell rises, taking measures such as leaving the water in the sink running may alleviate it. Also, other than the smell, the facility does not have a barrier-free concept, so it is not recommended for the elderly, those with weak legs, those who use wheelchairs, and those who are prone to falling. The public bath is an open-air bath only. This time I was staying in winter, so I went without knowing it, and I was quite frozen after washing my hair and body under the cold weather in the middle of winter. When the cold weather is severe, it is better to wash your hair and body in advance in the bath in your room, and only soak in the large bath.

２Stayed on the first day of the three consecutive holidays in the month. ２ I thought about it a week ago and looked for an inn, but there was nowhere (apart from the stupid high place), it was almost the only choice. This was one of three ryokan that my wife and I stayed at recently in Atami and we really enjoyed it. We stayed in another ryokan that was much more expensive that the Furuya which we enjoyed, but we also very much enjoyed this ryokan and thought the value was better at its price. The room we had was very nice and large which probably contributed to us enjoying the stay. The food was excellent. We thought it was a little less pretentious that another higher end ryokan we stayed at. The location in Atami is great. You can just walk to some things whereas other ryokan were pretty limited in allowing you to do that. We loved the private onsen in our room, its just a beautiful setting. What carries this place over the top for us was the service. The staff are all great, but you really expect that of any place you go in Japan. But we both thought the our food server for dinner and breakfast was amazing. Since don't speak any Japanese, having someone who we could converse with in English while dining was perfect for us. Her attention to detail and service is enough to make us want to go back there just so we can have her assist us again. Her name is Miho and if we every go back to Atami, we will stay at the Furuya Ryokan and it will be because of her.

We wanted to experience something special during this long-awaited trip to Japan and were referred to this ryokan (traditional inn) by a former client of mine. On paper, it has several things going for it: It’s located directly on the train route between Tokyo and Kyoto; Features both a large onsen (mineral bath) and private tubs in the rooms; Includes both breakfast and dinner. Also, it threw me a bit at first but was actually quite reassuring that the website for this ryokan is entirely in Japanese. I took that as a sign of its authenticity, and management was very gracious to correspond in English via email. When we arrived, we were not disappointed with the warm welcome and very comfortable accommodations. Although our room was the smallest at the inn, it was actually a small suite of rooms with lots of modern amenities as well as traditional decor. We changed into our yokatas and lounged in our sitting room enjoying tea and snacks before dinner. That dinner was amazing! Having notified management that our aging knees do not allow us to sit on the floor in the traditional Japanese manner, we were delighted that they arranged a private dining room and server for us. We’d never before seen such an ongoing stream of exotic and delicious foods. After a while, we just laughed as our server brought us more and more dishes. Our private mineral bath was the perfect way to unwind after dinner. I’m not sure what minerals are in the piping hot water, but it felt so good. Sleeping on tatami mats was a challenge, but not impossible. In the morning, breakfast was a slightly shorter version of dinner, with multiple small dishes of beautiful and delicious foods. Before checkout time, we had some time for a walk down to the beach and around the neighborhood. Finally, when it was time to leave, the inn provided a ride to the train station. Everyone we encountered at this ryokan was so gracious and accommodating. It was a wonderful, relaxing, and unforgettable experience. Be aware, though, that this type of inn is not cheap. Most of them charge per person per night. But if you want to pamper yourself, I highly recommend this place.

The hotel offers free private hot springs, all overlooking the sea, super beautiful. The one-stop-two-dining standard is very delicious. We went on the day of the spark, originally planned to take a taxi to the beach side, check in informed us 19:30 assembly, it turns out there is a tour bus arranged to pick up, and there are special seats, overjoyed, so that we comfortably watch the bright performance. It was a scenic hotel on a hill in Atami, but I climbed a fairly steep narrow road to get from the city of Atami. It seems that there were other routes, but when I went by navigation, this steep route came out. I think you should be careful when you go. Supper and breakfast were very good. Since it is Atami, I was wondering if there are many fish dishes, but I was satisfied with the French-like dishes. The room was large and my grandson who went with me was running around. The bath in the room was also a hot spring and I could see the sea from the window. On the way back, I stopped by Kinomiya Shrine, which can be reached in 15 minutes by car.

The room is large and comfortable. The semi-outdoor cypress tub has just the right depth and is very comfortable for a single person to soak in. The smart water-adding and temperature adjustment are very advanced. You can jump in and enjoy the constant-temperature spring water at any time throughout the day👍🏻 The Japanese-style semi-buffet breakfast is very rich. It tastes pretty good too. Overall it's a very satisfying experience.
