The location of the hotel is very good! It's a 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal, which is very convenient for a round-trip day trip to Hatsujima. A few days before check-in, I emailed the hotel to request a high-rise room, which cost an additional ¥2,200 per person. I was given a room on the 8th floor, the highest floor. From there, I could watch the fireworks from the room without having to go to the beach or rooftop to watch the fireworks. The dinner was kaiseki which was delicious and the breakfast buffet was also good. However, the room is old and the cleanliness is average. There are a few hairs and dust on the bedding, which needs to be improved. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the station, with two buses in the morning at 9:30 and 10:00.
