This time I chose this seaside hotel because I wanted to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival. The hotel faces the location where the fireworks erupt. Although it is not directly in front of me, the distance is very close and it is very spectacular. A few days before check-in, I emailed the hotel to request a high-rise room, which cost an additional ¥2,200 per person. I was given a room on the 8th floor, the highest floor. From there, I could watch the fireworks from the room without having to go to the beach or rooftop to watch the fireworks.
