Hotel is near to Sun beach and a shopping district. It also provides shuttle bus service to the train station and is really convenient. Shout out to staff Fukumara Imelda! Excellent service from her and she acceded to my request for a change in room (with a top up fee) and made the procedures real smooth! Worth a stay for families as the rooms with tatamis are huge.

I stayed at this hotel on my first trip to Atami because it was close to downtown and seemed to be good value for money. Maybe because it was in the downtown area, the parking lot was a little far away and it was a bit difficult to walk in the rain. It's a long-established hotel, and it's spacious and big, but quite old. The room I booked was in the annex, so it was quite far from the entrance and difficult to get to. Of course, the room was old too. As soon as I opened the room, the futon was already laid out and the table was pushed into the corner, so I couldn't relax. There was an electric kettle and a refrigerator, but there was no information about Kannai or the area around the hotel, so it felt quite bleak. The view from the window was a balcony full of weeds, which was quite disappointing. The bath, which I was most looking forward to, was an open-air bath on the 11th floor of the main building, an indoor bath on the 2nd basement floor, and an open-air bath on the 3rd floor of the annex. There were three in total. The open-air bath in the annex was spacious, but there was only one. The height of the washing area was somehow half-hearted and difficult to use. The changing room seemed a little unclean. The lockers were also worn out. Unfortunately, it was raining in the main building's open-air bath... I wanted to go in, but there was no roof, so I gave up thinking, "Will I get wet?" I wish there was a roof... I guess if the weather was good, the economy would be great. The indoor bath in the basement of the main building was large, but there was only one bathtub. The sauna was very small, and the cold bath was a little small and old. The quality of the water was good, but I'd say it's only two stars... The breakfast buffet venue was very large and could accommodate a lot of people. The food was lined up on several tables in the middle, so there was no line and congestion, which is common in other hotels, and we were able to get our food quite smoothly. Everything was just as delicious, but there wasn't much variety. I wish we could have tried more local food since we were there. There were a variety of drinks and soups available in the server, and the soft serve ice cream had toppings, which was nice. Overall rating... I didn't have any unpleasant experiences, but I don't think I'd want to stay again. Excuse me.

The buffet food was extremely delicious. It was a great trip as the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. I will go to Atami again.

Karaoke and table tennis require reservations, and were already full by 4pm. I wish they would make it so that table tennis could be used in the free space instead of by reservation. It was nice that there was soft serve ice cream at the buffet. The all-you-can-drink local sake was delicious. I wish they would offer more types of bread for breakfast, like croissants. I also wish they would offer tea. It would be great if they had free drinks like coffee in the lobby, thank you. I couldn't find a water dispenser in the bath on the 11th floor. I wish they would install water dispensers in each bath.

The hotel has a large room for 3 people with a large bed but it's quite old, the central air conditioner can't adjust the temperature and some electrical outlets don't work. The bathroom in the room is quite old so it doesn't feel clean but the bathing area is hot. The general on the 11th floor is very good.

There was no water in the sink. It was posted that smoking was allowed, but it was not allowed. It feels older than I expected and there are bathrooms all over the place which makes it a bit difficult.

Since I only stayed in my room and the price was per room, I was able to stay at a reasonable price, eat my favorite meals, and enjoy Atami to the fullest.

Certainly, Atami New Fujiya Hotel has seen better days. As you can figure from the equipment for the entertainment hall (which is now used as a buffet room) as well as the room doors (which require physical keys), this hotel has aged tremendously. I actually enjoyed both dinner and breakfast buffet. Dinner buffet included all-you-can-drink drink bar with draft beer, local sake, and a wide variety of soft drinks. The hotel divided the customers into a few time slots. Though I was one of the first people to enter the buffet room, I soon realized that I did not need to rush to get in. While the room became crowded at a time, the staff were quite efficient in replenishing food and cleaning up the used dishes and cups. I was able to try 2 out of 3 onsens (11th floor and annex 3rd floor). The corridor to the annex needs to be evened out. I was afraid that some people would fall on the way to the bath facility or buffet. The location, to me, was great. It was within 15 minutes from the beach, and the path to the beach had a lot of shops. I liked that the hotel provided several yukata’s (size and color) to choose from to meet the customers’ needs. My group had small to large people, and everyone found his/her favorite.

It's 2,000 yen more expensive than the regular Itoen, but the food is about the same as a regular rate hotel, so I'm disappointed. Compared to last year, I think the overall quality of the food at Itoen has declined considerably. I can live with it because I'm staying cheaply with a discount for consecutive nights, but I would never use the regular rate. The bath in the main building is surprisingly small and always crowded. The open-air bath in the annex is large and free. Among the Itoen seasonal hotels, Kinjokan has the same price and much better rooms, food, and customer service. I would like people to learn from me.

As for the customer service at the hotel, the people at the front desk and inside the hotel were friendly and smiling, so I felt at ease during my stay, but the 60-year-old man in charge of the shuttle bus on the way home had a very bad attitude and ruined my enjoyable stay. I checked twice to see if the shuttle bus was going to Atami Station, but both times I was ignored and simply asked, ``Are you going to ride or not?'' Since you're an adult in your 60s and you're standing at the entrance of a hotel, I thought you should speak in a better way.

I have used many Itoen Hotels in the past, but this was my first time using Atami's New Fujiya. First of all, Chika◯, during the check-in procedure, write your name and number here. There's no point in starting an argument right then and there, and since there are other guests there, I do as I'm told and enter the room without saying a word, only to find that the door is unlocked and I haven't been given the room key. So, I called the front desk about how to lock the door, but finally got through on the 19th time, and Chika ◯ answered the phone, so I asked her how to lock the door and where to put her yukata. If you ask me, it's written on paper, so if you read it, you'll understand. I was yelled at and hung up. I made a reservation last year and was really looking forward to today's trip, so I felt very sad. Other Itoen hotels provide detailed information such as the location of the public bath, explanations of each floor, times and directions to the buffet venue, etc. . . He also told me where to find yukata and anime goods. Indeed, the hotel itself may be the largest Itoen I've ever stayed at. That being said, such poor customer service is unacceptable. I think it would be okay for Kin◯ to apologize a little and explain why he used such abusive and abusive language towards me. And since Chika◯ didn't give me the key to the room, I couldn't leave my valuables and luggage unattended, so I was stuck in the room unless someone else was there.
