Pure Japanese-style hot spring hotel in-depth experience, one berth and two meals, dinner and lunch are very delicious, the hot springs are also very good, it is worth visiting again.

I wish I could give it 5 stars! Let's start with the bad - the hotel thought of just about everything except effective soundproofing. It was unpleasant to hear the traffic at all times when in the room even with the balcony closed, but you could find a way to accept it. What really killed it was 2 evenings in a row hearing a kid running above you for .5-1 hr at a time and being woken up in the middle of the night twice because someone decided to enjoy their onsen on their balcony and was talking and laughing loudly. We stayed for 5 nights and the weekend was the worst as the hotel had a higher occupancy rate. Without that...there is no good, there is only great: - Check-in is private, seated in the lobby with welcoming refreshments - Private onsen on your balcony (in addition to the large one for all guests) - amazing! - Room accommodations very well appointed with numerous amenities and very spacious - Parking available on your room level very convenient (not all, but some... we stayed on 4th floor so even exit from garage was available on our floor) - Restaurants - we had breakfast which had great options and service, we also enjoyed a room service for dinner which offered ability to order from multiple of restaurants. We didn't have dinner in the restaurants as we didn't find the menus appealing for all in our party. - Location is great, short walk to most things you'd want to do in Atami, across the street from a beach (not a great one, but people use it) and relatively easy to get out by car (especially if you ignore GPS directions that guide to tiny streets)

I stayed in a Japanese-style room in the main building, but I was able to enjoy a relaxing and relaxing trip with a Showa-era feel. It's a 15-minute walk from the station, so you can walk downhill from the station, so you can walk to the hotel while eating and sightseeing.Although it's uphill on the way back, it's a location where you won't get bored even if you try your best to walk. A shuttle bus is also available. By the way, Atami gets quite congested during the leisure season, so I personally think it would be difficult to get there by car. There are several ITO EN affiliated hotels in Atami, so I'm not sure where to go next. If there was one feature, I think it would be a hotel I would want to visit again, so I would like to expect more features and services from this hotel.

At the end of May 2023, I booked a 3-night stay with 2 meals Facilities: The hotel opened in May 2021 is basically equivalent to a newly opened hotel. The rooms and public areas are very new and clean. The room is super big, enough for 4 people. You can see part of the sea view, and you can watch the fireworks display on the top floor, but we still go to the beach to watch the fireworks by ourselves. Downstairs there is Powerless Children's Paradise, nearby Seven and Lawson are very convenient, and there are large supermarkets maxvalue and drugstores within 10 minutes' walk. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the central area of ​​the Fireworks Festival, and 5 minutes to walk to the pier to take a boat to Hatsushima. Service: There are several non-Japanese staff in the hotel, who seem to be from India. They are fluent in Japanese and English, and the communication is basically barrier-free, but there are no Chinese-speaking staff. Consulting about buying medicine, watching fireworks, borrowing a thermometer, helping to call a car, etc., the service is very thoughtful and enthusiastic. It was raining when we left on the last day, and the front desk took us to a taxi with an umbrella. Environment: Everyone is very friendly, about 90% of Japanese local tourists, the atmosphere is very good. Insufficient: The next day, because the child was uncomfortable, I stayed in the room for a whole day, so I hung do not disturb on the door. The room did not need to be cleaned. Housekeeping put the replacement towels, bathrobes, etc. at the door. On the third day, the child got better. After going out to play for a day, he posted something to be cleaned on the door early in the morning. After a long day of playing, he still piled up all the things at the door of the room like the day before. He didn’t even notice that I posted it on the door. The sign is to be cleaned. But the flaws do not conceal the advantages, it is not a very so-called thing.

The hardware of the hotel is good, but it is very expensive on the day of watching the fireworks. The price is more than 2,000 per night, but it is not easy to get a room. What I'm speechless about is that the automatic check-in process is so terrible. I spent a full 40 minutes in front of my iPad. The operator didn't understand Chinese or English and couldn't understand. He had to write down his identity information and his domestic address. There weren't any waiters in the hotel, but luckily it was not easy to get it done in the end.

I’m a little torn to rate the location average because it can be a pain to get to if you don’t have a car, but the view from the room (apparently all rooms have view of the sea) is great. A lot of variety for breakfast but nothing really stood out. I didn’t get to visit the onsen because they don’t allow tattooed people. I would stay again, especially in summer on a fireworks day!

The hotel is some distance from the train station, so walking is not practical. The hotel has a shuttle bus that leaves every 20 minutes but is often not on time. As a result, we didn't get on the bus after eating near the train station that night. The taxi back to the hotel cost more than 2,000 yen. expensive. In fact, it is very convenient to take the Yuyou Line bus. The hotel is very large and there are many people. It has three hot springs. We soaked in two of them and they were all great.

Older hotel. In the mountains, it is not recommended if there is no car. If you set the hotel's meal, there is no food nearby.

Hotel is near to the Mishima JR station (about 7-10 mins’ walk instead of the stated 3 mins) but it was at the opposite side of the station where all the eateries and amenities were. Could get really dark to walk from the station especially for the ladies. Public bath/onsen was not bad but the outdoor pool was overhyped. There was a cold pool, sauna too. There are 2 massage chairs. Overall, an dated hotel that serves its purpose for a brief stay with tea and coffee dispenser in the lobby.

I suddenly decided to go to Numazu and made a reservation on the night of the day of my stay. I was confused because the entrance was a little difficult to understand, but the front desk was simple and clean and very beautiful. The room feels like an ordinary hotel, but the bath is amazing! I imagined a unit bath in an ordinary hotel, but the unit bath here is wide without a feeling of oppression, and it is partly wood grain and the design is nice. I thought it was a hotel made by Daiwa House. The price is not high, so I will definitely use it again next time I go to Numazu. The bath was a high score anyway. By the way, there is a corner with a microwave oven and vending machine on the top floor. There is a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're hungry in the middle of the night! The station is close, and the parking lot (1 day 1000 yen) is also available, so the convenience is excellent.
