The hotel is on the edge of a cliff and the view is very good, especially for watching the fireworks display. We stayed at the hotel on the night of the fireworks display. The hotel is some distance from the train station, so walking is not practical. The hotel has a shuttle bus that leaves every 20 minutes but is often not on time. As a result, we didn't get on the bus after eating near the train station that night. The taxi back to the hotel cost more than 2,000 yen. expensive. In fact, it is very convenient to take the Yuyou Line bus. The hotel is very large and there are many people. It has three hot springs. We soaked in two of them and they were all great.

I stayed overnight in a group of 4 friends from high school. I went with a friend who went with me because of the contact with an uninhabited island where I stayed by a dedicated ferry. We took the shuttle bus from Mishima Station on the Shinkansen, but since this bus was gorgeous, we were very excited from that time (although the return was an ordinary microbus). When you arrive at the dock, there is a dedicated luxurious waiting room, which is differentiated from customers who go to the aquarium on the same island. When I was ashore by the hotel, I was in the waiting room, but the polite staff welcomed me and guided me to the lobby with a wide 々 through the road to the garden decorated with sculptures and plants. The cigar bar, which is like a luxury country club or a cruise ship, makes you feel the style. The room was a Japanese style room, but there was a living room between the Japanese room and the bedroom on the sea side, and it was a relaxing construction as a wide 々 including the bathroom, and it was too much to relax by four people. The view of the sea and Mt. Fuji from the room was also great. And the great service is a drink service including beer and wine until 7 pm. From 7 am, you can only enjoy soft drinks and coffee, but you can take it back to the scenic lounge or your room. Due to the convenience of one of my friends, I only had breakfast this time, but the level of food was high and the service was perfect, so I should be able to expect dinner quite a bit. Come next time. As for the bath, I wanted to take the open-air bath with good spring quality and the best view. I enjoyed Mt. Fuji standing up from the sea in front of me blessed with the weather. It was a very luxurious hotel stay. Thank you to your friend who taught me such a nice place. Then, although the scale is small, I was able to enter the Awashima Aquarium for free, where I can feel the passion of the staff. It's like a hotel wanderer, but it's a really nice place, maybe it's a hidden gem that you want to hide for those who have stayed there.

Last time I chose ”room with hot springs”, but this time I stayed in a Japanese room with 8 tatami mats. (It's the cheapest plan) The view is on the other side of the room with a hot spring, and you shouldn't expect it because you can only see the cityscape. Also, although there is no indoor bath, there is a large communal bath, so there is no problem. The large communal bath changes daily, but both are large baths and have good hot water. There is also a hot spring area so you can relax. Now it seems normal to park in the second parking lot (plane) a little far from the first parking lot (mechanical parking lot). But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. If you want to luxury, there are various plans, so I think it is good to choose and stay.

We used the Fuji Hakone pass and will have to stay one night in the Hakone area. We picked this hotel because it’s right next to the Gora station and later on we also found out that the bus stop to take the bus to Fuji area was just next to the hotel. They helped us to keep our luggage before we went further to Owakudani and Lake Ashi. Food is fantastic. We have dinner and breakfast at the common dining area. They didn’t offer free drinks like other onsen hotels might do. We stayed at the room with outdoor bath and found out later before the trip that the water is not real onsen water but regular water. However, with the location, this is unbeatable.

I suddenly decided to go to Numazu and made a reservation on the night of the day of my stay. I was confused because the entrance was a little difficult to understand, but the front desk was simple and clean and very beautiful. The room feels like an ordinary hotel, but the bath is amazing! I imagined a unit bath in an ordinary hotel, but the unit bath here is wide without a feeling of oppression, and it is partly wood grain and the design is nice. I thought it was a hotel made by Daiwa House. The price is not high, so I will definitely use it again next time I go to Numazu. The bath was a high score anyway. By the way, there is a corner with a microwave oven and vending machine on the top floor. There is a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're hungry in the middle of the night! The station is close, and the parking lot (1 day 1000 yen) is also available, so the convenience is excellent.

Although the hotel is connected to the station, you can't see the sign pointing to the hotel after exiting the station. You need to ask a few people to reach the hotel front desk. But it is still highly recommended

Kanpo no yado, one of the good hotels around the Atami area, is a great place to stay for relaxation & well being. Upon arriving at the hotel, we we're welcomed warmly by the friendly staff. They made us feel so welcome and at home. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and clean, not to mention the spectacular view from our balcony, seeing the real beauty of the whole Atami! We absolutely love our stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Atami region.

Overall, I had a great experience with Hakone Kowakien Ten-Yu, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate an anniversary weekend

It is more suitable for people who like mountain climbing or adventure. Because it is really high, it is not recommended for those who are afraid of heights to walk by themselves. Hygiene: The living room and room are very clean. There are quilt covers, but you need to pay attention to laying them yourself. If you don't use a quilt cover, you may be charged extra, but after all, it is in the mountains, so there will be some bugs, such as small spiders. Facilities: The hot springs are separated for men and women. There are two pools, both indoors and outdoors. There is no difference. However, if you go outdoors at night, there will be bugs attracted by the lights. There is no bath in the room, it is together with the hot spring, and slippers are required to enter the entrance hall (especially Japanese-style rooms), and there is a beverage machine next to it.
