Hotel Lodomar Spa & Talasoterapia

First time at this hotel but have used many hotels over the years in this resort as a four-star hotel I would rate it on the lower four stars staff was a little hit and miss at times left standing for nearly ten minutes with ice creams in my hand? and one evening i was the second person at the bar the barman knew I was waiting but managed to serve five customers then walked away i had to call him back to request bar service, Pool area was nice and clean with clean fresh towels and always sun loungers empty pool was the best outdoor pool it was like a bath ( only open this year July August ) could have stayed in it all day long the lifeguard spent a lot of time on his mobile which is a concern when you have small children in and around the pool area. the kid's entertainment lady? well, she may as well have not been there we had an active two-year-old in our group and she never once approached us the. we stayed in both front sea view rooms and also their apartments. sea view rooms were nice but a little dated and I have to say the beds were the worse hard beds ever like sleeping on concrete? if you don't have a back problem when you come to leave you will have not 4-star beds at all. the apartments appear to sit around the corner away really from the hotel down a local street they offer ground-floor or first-floor apartments ground floor apartments are not very private even with the small hedge in front the hotel offers parking but lots of on-street parking around the local area if you do not mind a short walk the beach is a flat easy 10 minute walk away so to the mud baths. the spa within the hotel was a little expensive but very nice and the saltwater pool offers something different but please remember hats and googles

Great place to stay, short walk to beach, to the mud pool and the pier walk to windmill, also have a great place to rent paddleboards, kayaks, windsurf boards and boats. Staff very friendly and helpful with anything. Been 2 times now to Hotel Lodomar.

Quiet location but close to the Salinas, shops and restaurants. We stayed in an apartment which was clean and well equipped with a south facing patio.The food in the bar and restaurant was good. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hired bikes at a reasonable price.

Very comfortable, spacious and clean room with balcony view. Hotel staff very helpful. Buffet breakfast plentiful and more than satisfactory. 25m swimming pool to get a swim first thing in the morning. Very enjoyable stay. Will definitely use again when back on San Pedro del Pinatar.

Great hotel. Pool area very good. Stayed in chalet with kitchen. Whole area very clean & well kept. Very central for the beaches & boardwalk. great amusements park for kids every night just a 10 minute walk along the beach.Plenty of free parking. Breakfast very good. Also very close to the mudbaths.

Generally a very pleasant stay, easy to get to , easy to explore other areas great beaches , mar menor 15mins easy walk. This was our first time in the hotel, we would probably opt fir the apartments next year purely because they offer more flexibility for us

Hotel Lodomar is a very good, 4* venue in which to spend an enjoyable holiday. Rooms are quite spacious and kept very clean daily by the commendable cleaning staff. Reception staff are affable, knowledgeable and persevering. all the amenities function well, e.g. Bar, pool, lifts, etc. On a couple of occasions, the pool ran out of towels, so we had to bring our own towels from the bedroom, but that's not unexpected as demand for towels in August is overwhelming. The best feature at Lodomar is the food quality (went on a half-board basis). Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with plenty of variety, good taste and amicable restaurant staff there to help with any issues or needs. The chefs should be complimented on their efficiency and marvellous taste. Hotel location & access is satisfactory, especially for younger people who are more agile. the nearest beach, Playa de Villananitos, is a good 20-25 minute walk from the hotel, which may not be easily tolerable for older people in the heat of the summer, thus, a car is necessary. Same for shops & supermarkets, the nearest of which is Supermercado Día, at some 16-17 minute walk, followed by Mercadona at 22 minute walk from the hotel. So, a car is again necessary, especially when carrying stuff on the way back. In case you wanted to explore the region by public transport, then the Estación de Autobuses of San Pedro requires a taxi ride from the hotel, costing around €8.00, or a 28 minute walk to the nearest bus stop located across the road from the town's fair. Bus fares are cheap; €4-5 for a single ticket to Murcia (the capital) or the beautiful Cartagena. One of the most unfortunate aspects is the location of the "nearest" airport, la Corvera, which is in the middle of nowhere, at some 30 minute taxi ride costing €64 to Lodomar & €60 from the hotel back to La Corvera. Only rife corruption of politicians can be blamed for the unfortunate and difficult to access airport location. Hotel Lodomar management should seriously consider striking a deal with the local taxi company for concessional airport transfer fares for hotel guests. All in all, we would highly & without any hesitation recommend hotel Lodomar for an enjoyable holiday in San Pedro del Pinatar.

A very nice stay, I went with my 9 year old & we both enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, especially Marina at reception who was very helpful. The rooms were clean, with a fridge and a safe & were cleaned efficiently daily. They also had a few channels with the option to change the audio to English, plus Netflix & Amazon prime. We had a room with a view, we could see the salt flats & the sea and also the pool area. The balcony was massive! The pool was very nice, we didn’t use the spa facilities so I’m not sure what the indoor pool is like. We had breakfast included, which was delicious, a very nice selection, but after having dinner there once (an “oriental buffet” that wasn’t up to scratch) we opted to eat lunch & dinner out for the rest of the trip. That and the fact there isn’t much food around close by are probably the only downsides. There aren’t any Ubers available in the area either but the reception desk will call a cab for you. I’d definitely recommend it

Very nice and clean appartaments for family,we have the self catering options(microwave,gas cooker,fridgefreezer and all thinks to self cattering. Very quite and good place,also very nice staff.Distance to 1 st beach 10-12 minutes walking.
