The manager was wonderful and assisted us with everything we needed. He arranged a transfer to the Abu Simbel Temple. Since we had a very early departure, he kindly provided us with a takeaway breakfast and also prepared it for us an hour earlier on the day of our flight. We are very grateful for this.
About the hotel: This is a historic building that belonged to a Nubian family. In the 1960s, it was converted into a hotel.
The restaurant in the lounge area offers a wonderful view of the Nile. Across the street is a path lined with souvenir shops. We also had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant. The most important thing is the quiet room. You can relax and sleep wonderfully.
We initially stayed in a very cozy and lovely two-story room (bed on the second floor, bath downstairs), but it was very hot and stuffy at night, and the air conditioner vibrated loudly when running, making it difficult to sleep, so we had to turn it off that night.
We then moved to another room, which consisted of two areas—a lobby and a bedroom. It was very spacious and cool.
In the area, you can rent a kayak or boat, buy a boat ticket, cruise down the Nile, visit a crocodile farm, or go camel riding.
Overall, we really enjoyed it. It was one of the few places where it was truly cozy, peaceful, and quiet. We want to come back again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right by the Nile River. There is a large area full of his homes. It is a bit like a more distinctive homestay. It is in Nubian style, and there are many distinctive decorations in the room.
The hotel is located in the suburbs, and the surrounding area is deserted and remote, so it is also very quiet. The hotel we booked to pick us up from Cairo to Aswan was charged $55. It took about 40 minutes to drive. I felt cheated. In fact, you can call a taxi directly from the airport. It is not as chaotic as it is said on the Internet.
The breakfast in the hotel is not bad. The fried egg is very delicious. There is a waiter who is Nubian. He is very nice to me. He will take the initiative to help me carry things and remind me to pay attention to the steps. It is the most sincere and friendly service I feel in my trip to Egypt. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. When I left, I wanted to find him to tip but couldn't find him.

It is like drinking water for a pony crossing the river. We all have the experience of staying in luxury hotels. This time, I mustered up the courage to travel instead of vacation, hoping to experience the local customs and customs to a certain extent, and to see the world from a different perspective... My phone fell, and the Tuktuk guy immediately took it back to find it. The kind Nubian girl reminded me in time to prevent me from losing my passport. The phone fell at the counter at the airport and was promptly informed by the kind ground staff... Basam of the hotel helped us arrange a chartered boat from the east bank of the Nile to the hotel directly after going down the river for dozens of minutes. I watched the moon and stars on the top of the boat, and drifted on the quiet Nile River under the moonlight. These are special experiences that are not available on XHS... There is also Nubian dance in the hotel at night! The breakfast is also rich and the scenery is beautiful! Breakfast on the Nile!

GGuest UserI booked this accommodation when I stayed in Aswan as a stopover on my way to the Abu Simbel Temples.
Although it's located far from the city center, there were no particular issues with my stay.
The staff were very kind and took care of everything, from booking tours to late check-in and preparing breakfast for us to take home.
The room I stayed in was also very clean, and the shower
had plenty of hot water.
It also had air conditioning, so I was able to stay comfortably.
I highly recommend it if you're staying in Aswan.

JjzycnThis is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

The Nile under our Balcony full of. Tolip is a chain of five-star hotels in Egypt. Although the decoration style and facilities are relatively old, it is already considered good in the local area. The price is also very cost-effective. There are rooms with Nile views. It is only a one-minute walk away. It is very good.

MmsscullyAt the door is the largest Souk in Aswan. It is very convenient to buy some snacks, water and coffee, but of course you have to bargain. The hotel room facilities and hygiene are at the level of a guest house, but the service is really good! There is a girl at the front desk who can speak Chinese, she is so cute! Very very friendly to Chinese people! He introduced us to delicious restaurants and reminded us that if we get up early to go to Abu Simbel and can't make it for breakfast at the hotel, the hotel can pack breakfast for us! The hotel is very close to the Nile River. It takes about 10 minutes to stroll. If you are in a good mood, you can stroll to KFC. You can also try some local restaurants along the river. It is windy and a bit cold by the river this season~ Hotels in Aswan are basically Two extremes, the price/performance ratio here is acceptable. But the hotel will have a power outage for one hour every day. I don’t know why, and there are a lot of mosquitoes! The baby was bitten very pitifully... GGuest UserWhat you see is what you get, very cute place. The whole village is super cute in dopamine style!  Breakfast is delicious, you can eat on the balcony and the scenery is particularly good, directly see the Nile!  The sister of the homestay also took me to touch the little crocodile for free! Super experience! This small village is especially suitable for hanging out and relaxing for a leisurely day!
