Hotel staff are very warm and welcoming The scenery is beautiful. Opposite the hotel is the Philae Temple. You can also have dinner outdoors in the evening and watch the light show of Philae Temple The meal is also delicious Be sure to order the grilled fish from the Nile River

A paradise located in the Aswan Reservoir 1. Excellent location, with a dedicated boat to take you to the island at the pier. 2. The view is first-class, facing the temple, the sunset is beautiful. 3. The attitude is very good, the hotel staff are very friendly, and the room is cleaned very carefully Disadvantages: The hardware facilities are indeed not good, and the bathroom conditions are relatively primitive.

The hotel is on the island, opposite the Philae Temple, and the environment is excellent. It cannot be reached by car, so you need to take a boat to get in and out. Check-in and departure by boat are free, and other charges are required. The room is a certain distance from the dining area. The facilities are average. It seems that there may be no air conditioning. The bedding is relatively clean. You need to make a reservation 2 hours in advance to eat. It mainly uses standard nubia food. In terms of taste, our family currently has a 1:1 ratio. Some say it is good and some say it is not. Generally speaking, if you like farm food, I think it will be acceptable here. The accommodation and price are not cheap, and the facilities are not comparable to those of luxury hotels, but considering the environment and style, it is a relatively unique experience and worth recommending in Aswan.

No air conditioning, no way to take a shower. Light and sound cannot be cut off. Basically, go to the countryside to experience life

The hotel is good and the view is great, but there is no air conditioning and there are some insects in the rooms such as mice, mosquitoes and flying flies and the rooms are not clean. A very bad experience and I am not completely satisfied and I advise against the experience. Also the prices are very expensive and do not suit the value of the hotel. .

The hotel is rustic and relaxed. The staff are very cheerful and helpful. Our room was exactly as described in the website, comfortable with a beautiful view. The restaurant has very good Nubian food. The boat from the hotel to the port across the lake takes about 10 minutes. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful experience! This place is the best place to stay when you are in Aswan if you like peace and quite and beautiful views. The location is magical right in front of Philae temple, You reach the hotel by taxi boat (check in and check out are free drive) You are far from the city center please keep this in mind! But for us this was perfect. we wanted a place to relax in a nice quiet environment to end our holiday in busy Egypt. THE STAFF All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was great! The welcome hibiscus drink was a nice extra touch! THE HOTEL GROUNDS The hotel is situated on a private island in front of Philae temple. The buildings are build in a traditional way with respect for nature. We really loved the use of natural materials it gives an extra connection with the environment. The Vegetable garden is a beautoful oasis. they grow their own food to use in the restaurant. We also loved the cats and dogs (Rita and Anton) They have a private beach with river access and also kayaks. THE RESTAURANT The restaurant location is breathtaking, right in front of Philae temple. Its not only a beautiful place, the food is amazing to! And you can tell because of the large groups who visit the restaurant for lunch when they end their visit in the temple. We had lunch and diner in the restaurant and it was perfect! Very fresh and delicious and a lot of choice on the menu. Breakfast is also very good. At night you can watch the lightshow on the temple. THE ROOM The room is very basic but good. It is small but for us perfect. The bed is comfortable and the balcony beautiful with nile views and even the temple complex! The bathroom was very basic, the room floated while showering. There is no wifi in the room but that is absolute not a problem for us. TRANSFERS The taxi boat transfers were very good. we had no problems with our transportation to the city and the airport. They even arranged a boat for us at 3u30 in the morning because we had an early flight to Cairo. They also made us a breakfast box to take on the plane! Thank you to the Eco Nubia team for our wonderful experience at your beautiful place! Sarah and Jan

This hotel is a destination on itself for several reasons. 1- It has the best "accessible" view of the Isis temple. Warning: the very best view is just a quick hike to the top of the boulder pile on the east flank of the hotel; but don't do it- I got in trouble with 2 soldiers for trying to take pics from there- in Egypt the temples are protected by soldiers that don't want people taking pics from high angles. 2- You are spending the night in an authentic Nubian village. We loved our rooms! 3- The food is authentic, and in our opinion, the best Egyptian food that we had in our trip. 4- You get there in a boat! Add to that the top customer service and the friendliness of the hosts. Among the things they did for us: 1- The manager organized our trip to Abu Simbel with a funny and empathetic driver that never ever asked us for a tip (he got one of course but the point is that he wasn't pushy, which adds to the experience). The price for transportation was fair. 2- The manager let us watch the World Cup games in the TV that they have for the staff room- no TV in our rooms. Interacting with the staff adds to the trip experience. 3- We got our breakfast packed so we could take it during our drive to Abu Simbel. We didn't ask for it. We were a group of 5. All of us loved this place and if we ever go back to Aswan, we know where to stay. We would have loved to make more use of other facilities, or at least spend some significant time by the bonfire. Congratulations!

Eco nubia is beautiful. keep in mind, it is situated on a small island, situated between the two dams. this means if you want to go out, you need to ask a boat operated by the eco nubia lodge to take you to a beautiful harbor called el batanyoun (situated just south of the old dam), and then find a taxi to take you to aswan the town, which is a few kilometers from the harbor, north of the old dam. the whole thing might take you 40 or 45 minutes. but if this is not a problem for you, eco nubia is perfect: - beautifully situated between two dams, the landscape is gorgeous - direct view on the main touristic sight in aswan, the temple of isis in philae island - the island is beautiful, includes a vegetable garden, and a place on top of a hill where one can go do yoga, or admire the view ! - the rooms are beautiful , although all facing north (facing philae island) - the terrace is large, and the restaurant includes an inside, and the food is really really good, among the best we had in egypt. in particular, the breakfast is divine. - the manager Mohamed is super nice and super helpful Please note, when you arrive at the little harbour where you will take a boat to the island, the name of the boat is solaih, eco nubia, (in our case, we were unsure and confused, and we let it go a few times before we realized it was the boat to take to the eco-lodge!)
