Hamada is very easygoing , laidback and sweet host. The room is spacious and access to the terrace and strawberry cafe. There are three guest rooms and two shared bathrooms which has the best shower( good pressure and very stable temperature) in Egypt, reasonable clean. I love enjoying the full Egyptian breakfast (foul - beans, egg, chips, falafel and salad with Egyptian bread) by the picturesque Nile view. Hamo house is situated in the quiet area in Elephantin Island and has the amazing Nile view.

The owner is obsessed with money. He made us pay immediately for every consumption. The rooms are old and dusty, the egyptian breakfast was served cold.Cold falafel, french fries and beans...yuk. He offered 'free massage' which we refused. All felt very uncomfortable. Only good thing were the matresses; they were new. The location on elefantine island is very noisy due to passengerboats passing with loud music all day. At 5 in the morning the owner and his staff would wake up with much noise. Not recommendable at all!
