The hotel is located in the Nubian village of Gharb Soheil. Situated by the Nile, the property is spread over a large area and has different type of rooms. The buildings are built in the Nubian style and brightly painted. Our room overlooked the Nile. The room was spacious, air-conditioned, and provided with basic amenities. There is an in-house restaurant. The foods were delicious though a bit on the pricier side. We specially loved the Stuffed Chicken and Creamy Chicken Soup. We loved to relax in the restaurant in the evening after a long day of exploring sights. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also packed us breakfasts when we went to Abu Simbel. As the hotel is located right in the middle of the Nubian village, we took walks in the vibrant markets during the sunset.

This is a lovely Nubian guest complex located a bit off the beaten road near Aswan. Traditional mud brick houses which are brightly painted are located directly on the Nile River. There are multiple different guest cottages and a central lobby/eating area and a separate restaurant. Many of the cottages have a terrace overlooking the Nike River and we caught a boat directly behind the establishment for a cruise on the Nile. Breakfast is served in the lobby restaurant area and consists of a mix of traditional and continental cuisine. Only instant coffee is served here. The newer cottages facing the Nile River are the best and have a modern feel with good ambient lighting, sliding glass doors that open onto a terrace, modern bathroom fixtures and decent water pressure. The mattresses are firm but comfortable. The cottages are naturally cool due to the building materials and physical design. A small safe was located in the room. The WiFi signal was weak and intermittent throughout my stay which is common in the more off the beaten tracks part of Egypt. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was charming. I stayed in several hotels and lodges in Egypt and this place was my favorite. I highly recommend this establishment.
