Asuncion Hotels with Gym

Stayed here for 2 weeks for a work trip. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant servers! The beds are comfortable. It’s in an easy to access and safe area with many food options available nearby. It’s about 25 min away by Uber from the historical center, but is great for business meetings. I booked a conference room during my stay here and it was very easy. They also have laundry services on site and all of my clothes came back fresh the next day. The gym is small but has everything you need for a good workout. The walls are a bit thin and I’d recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, but besides that it was a perfect stay. My only recommendation is for them to add tea kettles to the room. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

I stayed for 2 nights with check in July 8, 2023 and I am very pleased! Welcomed by the friendly staff and after receiving the amenities as a Platinum Ambassador member I was surprised by what this property has to offer: the Business Center featuring a Mac Pc desktop computer and a tasty snack near the evening time, which includes coffee. Nice addendum as it makes the stay even more enjoyable. Reservations department handles very well the advance purchase reservation and this establishment has a appealing swimming pool that I guess becomes so refreshing in summer time. I will certainly come back for my next trip to the lovely Asuncion!

I booked two nights for my wife and I and her brother with his wife and two teenage children. This was ”the” hotel in the 60's and nothing much seemed to have changed. The room fridge was barely cooling and no posted prices on the fridge. The rooms are oddly layed out and the view was through large outside shutters which are needed for the intense sunlight. Air conditioning was good once housekeeping set it for me! TV adequate. Bath shower with nice tolietries. Room was spotless but dated. Bed was comfy. the pool on the third floor is very large, unheated but dangerous. All pre ADA stuff non existent. Water was clean. Everyone had a great time. There was also a very large amount of deck chairs and a great view of the park. This hotel is c the best location in downtown Asuncion. Food servive avaiable poolside at reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of fresh fruit. I ordered fried eggs and was charged about 50 cents each! The hotel staff was very friendly. Our 13 year old nephew was in heaven because soccer teams also stay here. Underground parking was an experience. We will stay here again on our return trip to Paraguay andenjoy the pool weather permitting.

Palmaroga Hotel was an extremely pleasant experience for me. The building itself is a beautiful mix of renovated old and modern, with a special mention for the patio on t 1st floor and of course the pool and view on the roof-terrace: what a delight when it is 35° C. All the staff is great: the people at the reception, but also the cleaning personnel, the waiters and waitresses at the café and for breakfast. Talking of the breakfast: the buffet is great, with lots of delicious options and there s a small gym where you can work the semilunas out of your body again! The location in the center of Asuncion is ideal : you can walk to any of the important sightseeing spots. However when I was there (Semana Santa), the center was not the liveliest place I've seen, but it's ok. I can't really imagine a better place in this price range.

The property is in a good location across from a shopping mall with restaurants and close to the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable.

Built in 2015 Aloft Hotel offers 120 rooms over 12 floors and is located next to the DelSol Shopping Mall. Designed modernity like the Moxy hotels, the Aloft focuses on millenniums. Free Wi-Fi and free parking. Staffs are adequate and friendly. At floor 12 you find a small pool, terracce & bar. Our practical room was adequately decorated and furnished, with a good kingsize-bed. The room had a TV on the wall, ironing facility, wardrobe with safe & water boiler, and washbasin. We had a separate bathroom with toilet and shower. The window can’t be opened, you have to rely on airco. All was clean. The buffet breakfast is OK with an acceptable variety. When you like a modern hotel, Aloft is the place for you.

Very nice hotel, ultra modern, great location for early morning flights out of Asuncion. Large beautifully appointed rooms, large bathroom and very comfortable beds. The only downside was that there is almost no place within walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurant. And the somewhat noisy AC didn't seem to be able to cool the room down to a temperature that was comfortable to me.

Hotel with excellent location, in front of the shopping del Sol. Follow the Ibis standard, no surprises. Checkin agile, good breakfast. Good internet. Attentive officials, but one of them needs training to treat customers.

We found this hotel on TripAdvisor of course, and were in town for business from abroad. Although this review is a little late—we stayed multiple times in 2021 in Jan and May/June—they operated flawlessly during the pandemic, and even remembered us when we came back months later! They have a Juan Valdez cafe in the lobby, which was appreciated as a coffee lover :) The rooms are spacious and modern, and the beds so comfy. We hope to return.
