Located just off the Riverwalk, enjoy beautiful sunset walks along Mill Pond and the waterfront. Designated parking at the Firehouse Museum and ample street parking. Conveniently located next to Tranquil River Day Spa (https://www.tranquilriverdayspa.com/) for your relaxation needs and steps to restaurants, museums, shopping, entertainment, and a short distance to panoramic views from the Astoria Column. This 288 sq. ft. studio is stylishly decorated and very comfortable with a queen size daybed, stocked kitchenette, smart TV, Wi-Fi and a floating wood countertop for dining, working or hanging out. It has a new mini split air conditioner with heat pump to keep you comfortable year round. The large bathroom has a brand new large tiled shower with a mural. The unit is through a gate and up a few stair steps from there with a cozy private deck, a café table and chairs.
In case you're new to the area here's a couple ideas for things to do around town:
Astoria Sunday Market (https://www.astoriasundaymarket.com/about): A combination of a farmer's and artist's market every Sunday downtown during the warmer months.
The Sea Crab House (https://theseacrabhouse.com): A local favorite for seafood.
Mo's (https://ilovemoschowder.com/mos-astoria): Another local favorite for seafood
Thai Me Up by Patta (https://www.thaimeuporder.com/): Good Thai food
Fort George Brewery (https://fortgeorgebrewery.com): Local brewery to unwind at after your northwest adventures, if you like IPAs try the Vortex.
Buoy Beer Company (https://www.buoybeer.com/): Another local brewery but this one is out on the pier.
The Astoria Column (https://astoriacolumn.org): For an incredible view stretching from Saddle Mountain to the Washington coast take some time to climb the column or hike to the area on one of the trails. FYI, a parking pass is $5.
Long Beach, WA (https://smalltownwashington.com/things-to-do-in-long-beach-wa/): Fly a kite, take a surfing lesson or just drive down the nearly 30 miles of beach until you find your perfect spot. This is roughly a 30 minute scenic drive from Astoria.
Bowpicker Fish & Chips (https://bowpicker.com/): I'm not a giant fan of fish & chips but I have friends who rave about this place.
Pelayo's Taqueria (https://www.facebook.com/taqueriapelayos/): A nearby taco truck with good food and good selection.

Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area (https://myodfw.com/jewell-meadows-wildlife-area-visitors-guide): This is a little out of the way but it's a scenic drive and you are pretty much guaranteed to see a large herd of elk beside the road if you arrive near sunrise or sunset in the cooler months.

Cozy Studio, Conveniently Located
This was a perfect, somewhat snug lodging perfect for our extended weekend exploration of Astoria. Clean, nicely appointed, and everything functioned according to description. Could have walked downtown, but chose to drive in. Parking was not a problem. Recommended!

Great stay
Great location, very clean. Loved the big shower. A little loud from the road but it was a great stay. Very cozy.

Cute tiny space
Cute little space, bathroom was huge and shower was nice, really close to everything you need in Astoria. My wife and I didnt care for the fact it was two doors down from a ***** club, but that's hardly the owners fault, just the reality of the location.

Adorable and comfy studio
We absolutely loved our weekend stay and will be back. It is small but perfect for a romantic getaway. The location works out well for a quick drive to downtown or up the street for some groceries. The bed and bedding are very comfy, loved the big bathroom and shower, and it comes equipped with a ton of coffee pods. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather and utilize the outdoor patio areas (yes, two!). Thank you for helping us make special memories.
