A quaint hotel with a long history and amazing staff. The restaurant in the hotel serves such amazing food. It’s also a short walk away from the old city of Assisi, making it a really convenient place to stay while one explores this beautiful old town.

We only had lunch here. The service was quick, and English was spoken. The food was well above average, and the prices are reasonable. The site is easy to access, lots of parking, and lots of seating. They have a good variety of choices, and the food is good. Worth your time…

We have been visiting Da Angelo for more than a decade, and have always been extremely satisfied with everything we experience. Of course, when people at a hotel and restaurant recognize you and address you by name, it is a good feeling. Our stay this time, was for 18 days and every day, we ate dinner in the restaurant. The food is always good and the house wine the same. I cannot think of many locations that match the quality of food, the friendliness of staff and the location. The view up the Umbrian valley towards Perugia and down the valley towards Foligno as well as across to the hills around Lake Trasimeno is unique. We fell in love with the City of Assisi in 1987 and have returned regularly since then. We are not religious, but the spirituality is obvious in all around it, and this extends and is enhanced in Da Angelo. The Family Tardioli have become more than simply hosts, as have all the staff, from the caretaker thru the room-personal and the waiters, to perhaps the most important : the Kitchen! The only reason I did not put on 12 KG in weight is due to my walking 20-30 KM per day, which is easy in this beautiful part of the world. Simple, stylish and a good place to stay.

A Hotel about 1vkm from the center of Assisi. Clean rooms, warm radiators, familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent served meat and side dishes. To review the fettuccine with mushrooms and truffles. The fettuccine excellent to review the sauce. Ptezzo excellent for the services received. Good breakfast. If it had a minimum lift it would be 4 stars. Pleasant night spent in a comfortable bed

Hotel run by a very inhospitable family, the lack of cordiality also affects the poor dining room staff who show their tired and suffering face (we can only imagine the reasons) and all this makes the customer experience an atmosphere that we do not recommend to anyone. In the area, for the same price, there are more beautiful establishments, with quality food and owners with a completely different attitude.

Cozy structure, to see it is family-run, room ok very spacious, cleaning not bad, dinner excellent, the only thing I could find was the breakfast not very rich, I would have liked a little rustic, but all in all I didn't ask not even, maybe they would have satisfied me. I stayed with my parents for just one night in this hotel that we already knew, now very renovated. Clean and spacious room, there was even an extra bed which was useful for us to place our luggage. Structure almost completely surrounded by greenery (it is slightly outside the centre, it is about 5 minutes by car) with ample space for the swimming pool, from which there is a very suggestive and relaxing view of the Umbrian hills. Good and plentiful breakfast. Cheap prices. Passing through Assisi from Angelo is a guarantee!
