Located in the center of the small city of ASSEN, it is close to the train station, and it is convenient to enter and exit; because it is late, it does not feel the excitement of this city center. The front desk is in the corner of the restaurant downstairs, saying that it is because of the renovation; when the elevator is upstairs, the elevator is a manual file, you must always let go to your floor. The room was short and crowded, but the decoration was a bit special; there was a wall-mounted air conditioner that was always on, blowing out a bit of sour cold wind, I pulled it out; but the floor heating facilities in the bathroom were still warm.

We had a very enjoyable weekend at this hotel. Yes it’s very outdated and could do with a good clean-up but the positives far outweigh the negatives. Location is beautiful .... nice and quiet with great walking routes right at the back of the hotel. Parking was fairly tight but we discovered an overspill carpark at the back where the shed is and where you can lock up your bikes for the night. The rooms themselves are typical Fletcher style ..... blue carpet with brown furniture but nice and spacious. Very comfy clean beds with coffee and tea making facilities. Nice small balcony to open the door and let some air in. Took a while to find a hairdryer and still wonder why they have it hanging and wired up under the television. No fridge in the room. The bath was very welcoming when you see how small the swimming pool is ..... however I did wonder how an elderly person could climb up into the bath to take a shower seeing there were no slip mats on the surface ..... lethal for an older person or somebody with a disability. Breakfast area very spacious with plenty of available tables and as for the breakfast itself, it was excellent. Anything you wanted was laid out and the cook behind the counter was constantly making up fresh eggs and bacon. Reception staff were constantly busy but very friendly and helpful. Overall really enjoyed it.

Very large hotel. Spacious room and bathroom with bath, separate shower and toiletries. Sliding door gives access to shared outdoor space (balcony). We had food in the bar and we really enjoyed it, reasonably priced. Pool table and dartboard in bar area but slightly tucked away. The pool and wellness facilities are free and really well maintained. Very clean and lots of choice: salt sauna, herb sauna, Finnish sauna, hamam, infrared sauna, foot baths and snow shower. Towels are provided and there are free lockers in the changing rooms. Changing rooms are not mixed. Enjoyed our stay.

Parking underground near the hotel, friendly reception and explanation of breakfast next morning and how the bar works. Located close to the city centre, which makes you not need to walk far to go to eat and drink without having to take the car. You can still sit on the bar and on the open shed at night. The bedrooms are clean and clean. Breakfast is not a luxury breakfast buffet but I don't think you're hungry from the table even if you're choosing, I've experienced worse. But their breakfast is surely careful and fresh. The check was also very nice and friendly. to stay for a recommender.

Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit, vriendelijke medewerkers. Heel goed ontbijt. Uitstekende kamer, niet in de laatste plaats door de gratis upgrade. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Groningen stad; ca 20 minuten met de bus. De bushalte is op 7 minuten lopen van het hotel.

An excellent hotel with big, clean rooms, friendliness of the staff and all the amenities you would expect. Great buffet breakfast and dinner options at the restaurant. First time I was given a digital room key and the ability to perform e-check in. Slightly off the town center, but right next to the bus terminal which take you there in 10 minutes. Has the option to rent bikes as well, which we did! This hotel is a perfect choice for Groningen.

Elp is a place that is very well located for Drenthe exploration. The Kokkoshof is a great, not too expensive opportunity to serve as a basis for it. Bicycles and engines can be stopped from the road. The room was clean and large enough. The furniture is lightly dated and the floor cover can just be included. But a good bed and choice of kitchens (hard or soft). Good coffee (and tea) in the room. Bad room is simple with shower in the bathroom. Lighting is good everywhere. The room was very quiet and sound-sleeved so the kitchen was very well sleeped. Unfortunately, the cook was sick that night, but we were transferred to a great alternative. Very good price/quality ratio, therefore, a recommender for if you want to explore Drenthe for a few days. Certainly because of the owner who is one and all kindness and attention. Compliment.

I had never eaten in this beautiful hotel, except for a nice lunch long ago. It was 1 January and try to find more. The family hotel. It was just looking in the big room but with some help we found a pleasant table near the window. It cost some difficulty to draw attention from the service but the food was fine. We had a vegetarian dish, and both were good, and the portions were also of a sufficient size, and the price was not countered.
