Very cosy and clean little hotel. Nice room with a superb wiew over the hills. One of my he best breakfasts I have had lately. The only minus I can think of is that there are not enough parking space.

We have stayed here a few times with friends for a Pfalz wine tour. It is located at the north end of the wine region. Affordable, clean, nice rooms, good breakfast. Parking in front of the hotel for free.

Rooms are fine, but they are only cleaned every 3 days (after 2 nights). Additional room cleaning costs 7.50 euros/day. The hotel's own car park costs 2.00 euros/day, or you can park for free on the street. It is advisable to reserve a table if you want to spend the evening in the restaurant. Without a reservation, you may end up staying there but have to drive to Grünstadt for dinner in the evening. You are given a list of many restaurants in the area when you arrive. There are no other places to eat in Asselheim itself, which is why we will not be booking this hotel in the future. The breakfast is very plentiful, the rolls are a disaster. Just reheated blanks, pale as the wall, not from the bakery. It was much better about 5 years ago. Staff are friendly with the exception of the gentleman who lurks around the buffet in the morning. He could be more attentive to the guests.

We had two lovely days with our son. We were very well looked after and advised and always felt very comfortable and welcome. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a large selection. The cheese selection could have been more varied, but that didn't detract from it. Our room was very nice and modern and had a great view of the greenery and the town (we had a corner room). We would stay there again anytime.

The Pfalzhotel seems to have fallen out of time. The quality of the breakfast is not very high and vegan food is only available by pre-order, if at all. My question about whether there are vegan milk alternatives was met with a derogatory remark from the boss himself. The vegetables and fruit are poorly prepared and of poor quality and the cheese spread for vegetarians is cheap and from a packet. The coffee tastes awful. The rooms are OK, but not very modern. For the price, there are much nicer and, above all, friendlier accommodations in the area.

Leider muss ich vieles zustimmen von der Bewertung von swim W aus August. Wir sind zu sechst angereist in drei Doppelzimmer aufgeteilt die meine Meinung sehr klein sind. Das Bad ist klein und eng. Es kam so gut wie kein heißes Wasser aus der Dusche und kaum Wasserdruck. Das Zimmer ist sauber aber werden erst am dritten Aufenthaltstag gerinigt. Nur gegen Aufpreis täglich. Für einen Vier Sterne Hotel eigentlich unverständlich. Man kann sich frische Handtücher holen in einem Zimmer im ersten Stock wenn welche da sind. Es gab nur kleine Handtücher. Von dem hoch angepreiste Frühstück waren wir auch enttäuscht. Es war gut aber nichts wirklich außergewöhnliches. Man konnte dort auch Abendessen, aber keine große Auswahl. Wir haben in Bockenheim ein schönes Lokal am Stadtrand gefunden wo wir dann zwei mal essen waren. Es heißt Café Ideal. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden direkt gegenüber. Sonst liegt das Hotel in einer schönen Weingegend. Wenn das Wetter passt kann man schöne Plätze finden wie z.b. Flörsheim Dalsheim.

Leider keine 4 Sterne und eher eine Enttäuschung . Das Hotel ist groß und sauber. Das Zimmer hat weder Klimaanlage, noch gibt es einen Kühlschrank, Kleiderschrank oder Körpercreme, was bei einem 4* Haus eigentlich normal sein sollte. Ganz und gar nicht akzeptabel für mich, dass keine Betten gemacht werden oder Handtücher gewechselt werden!!! Dies wird erst ab der 3. Übernachtung gemacht. Die Sauna wird auch nur beheizt, wenn man dies vorher an der Rezeption meldet. Das Personal war immer freundlich. Im Restaurant haben wir auch gespeist. Die Preise sind sehr teuer. Die Auswahl könnte mehr sein. Enttäuscht waren wir von der Qualität beim Frühstück. Die Brötchen waren fast nicht genießbar. Sie waren blaß, als wenn die Rohlinge nur aufgetaut wurden und nicht in den Backofen durften . In einem Weinort wie Asselheim, ist es eigentlich auch Pflicht, dass es beim Frühstück ein Gläschen Sekt gibt. Leider wurde hier auch gespart. Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht wieder besuchen, weil Preis/ Leistung nicht passt.
