The homestay is in a literary hall. A large complex. The room is two suites. They have bathrooms and baths. The room also has indoor and outdoor pools. The room is very comfortable. The store provides extra breakfast and dinner. Dinner is a rich Chinese food. It is a rare worker to eat Chinese food. The staff are very enthusiastic and most of the staff can speak Chinese. If you want to ask in advance, you can call and contact the staff in advance to communicate with WeChat. We played a ball in Asu. The staff asked us about several stadiums in order to find the right time. Thank you very much.

The hotel is located in the forest. There are only three single-family villas in the whole hotel. Each villa has a large courtyard and back garden. There is also a private hot spring. The environment is great, and the breakfast and dinner are also good. Friends with sufficient budget can consider it!

This hotel was recently built, so the amenities were perfect. It's a 2 min walk from Aso Station where you can take a bus to Aso crater and a 5 min walk to the nearest Lawsons. Hotels that only want to serve tour groups do not want to accommodate independent travelers. We arrived at 2:30pm and asked if we could check in half an hour early. The employee pointed out that check-in could only be done at 3pm. Then we asked if we could store our luggage, but the employee said she couldn't find our order. She was willing to look for our order only after we showed the trip.com order page.
The usage hours of the private hot spring are from 3pm to 9am. We went to the front desk at 10pm to ask about the location of the private hot spring, and she directly told us ”no”. After asking again, we were allowed to enter and let us leave at 12am.
Check out time was 10am. We felt very sorry that we didn't leave until 10:08am. They called us 4 times during this period and the attitude was very bad.
The employees don't speak English at all, and they won't actively help solve problems. They will just reject you directly, making people feel that you shouldn't bother them, and there is no one on duty at the front desk for a long time.

Like the onsen in the hotel; onsen water is good and big enough for 6-7 person to use. Japanese breakfast served by staff was quite substantial and tasty.
The room that we stayed is quiet and faces mountain and park. Bathroom a little small but clean. There wasn’t any wardrobe but there were hooks on the wall and hangers were provided.

GGuest UserThis might be one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. And I travel a lot. I am impressed with every bit of the house since the minute I saw the house from outside, to stepping inside. This house has all amenities you could ask for and everything is very tidy and organized. The location is good to it is right in the middle of the countryside, you will need a car to get here but it was all worth it. We walked down the rice field and found the stream which I and my daughter enjoyed.
GGuest UserBetter to rent a car to get there, so convenience is not somebody who books this place should look for.
For relaxing purpose, this is a nice area with lots of green, the down side is it is next to a golf course, so there were sounds of tree-cutting and a bunch of golfers practicing their putts on the practice putting green next to the site for trailers. I am not a big fan of that.
Service is closed to non-existent, there were staffs who helped checking us in, they were friendly and did their job explaining all the essential functions of the trailer. They had to use the translator machine to communicate, they were very patient. I can't rate the service too high because after checking in we were pretty much on our own. So not something you should look for if service is a top priority.
Best part is there is an onsen next to the site that offers family bath, that's memorable.
AAnonymous UserA beautiful and cozy Ryokan located in a quiet town. It was the new year when I booked a stay with them but I was still able to find stores that are open for dinner. Staffs were able to speak a little English, sufficient enough for standing and communication. They made effort to remember every guests who have checked in and you can only make reservations for their private bath onsen upon check in. Breakfast was sumptuous and needed to be booked as well. If you have more time, I would recommend to book and recharge for two or more nights instead. Will definitely visit again.
RRuicosta0410The waiters are very friendly and the environment is quiet. There are four independent private baths, three indoor and one outdoor. The food is rich. The surrounding environment of Aso City is relatively rural, far away from the hustle and bustle, and it is a good place to take a vacation.
SSeason MaOld traditional hot spring hotel
Big place with free parking
You can book a private open-air box bath at the counter
There are also indoor hot springs
Suitable for traveling with children
There is a small shop in the hotel and a children's play area.
Dinner is a buffet and there is wagyu beef available for barbecue, but there are many people
GGuest UserThe service attitude of the counter staff was good, and the accommodation rules were clearly explained. The public bathhouse on the first floor is well-equipped. There was a little girl crawling in the outdoor female public pool on the top floor, so I didn't go there. There are many types of breakfast, and there is unlimited supply of Aso milk. You can eat a lot. full.
It is recommended to live in a high-rise building, so you can see the beautiful scenery of Mount Aso outside the window in the morning.
LLi-ChenRoom was spacious but the bathroom was awkwardly small. There is NO hair conditioner in the bathroom. The fridge was so cold that the milk froze!
The mattress and pillow were so comfy, soft, and firm at the time. We slept very well and didn’t want to leave the bed!
GGuest UserIn the quiet mountainous area of Azu, the superior traditional hot spring hotel, it is impossible to expect direct rail or public transportation! Only suitable for self-driving travelers, go to the nearest convenience store and drive 4 minutes.
The service is too good to ask for more, very kind, the waiter can communicate in simple English. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, eat in a separate room. Originally there were cows and sashimi, but because we didn't eat it, the check-in explained that the waiter worked hard to help us communicate with the chef to change to duck and sashimi.
The room is very large, the TV is a large-size Sony new smart TV in recent years, Wifi is stable, you can stay in the room to soak in the hot springs, lie on the sofa to play waste and watch YouTube, not afraid of doing nothing at night.
The whole hotel only has 7 rooms, so there are not many guests. The room has been soaked in separate baths, and you can use a large bath (indoor and outdoor) at night to appoint 5 separate soup houses, soaking is very cool!
Next time if you have the opportunity to pass Asu to do the midway station, you will definitely come again!
??]The dinner food is very rich and fresh, the breakfast is as delicious, there is Asu Shrine nearby, and the private hot spring is very enjoyable. Definitely come again next time.
WWING SZEWe originally booked a small double room, but upon arrival the front desk staff upgraded us to a large room for free, which we were very grateful for.
The hotel's dinner is a barbecue buffet with a lot of meat and wine choices, but it is a bit smoky and could be improved.
We recommend that hotels provide pick-up service from Aso Station
