"After an exceptional stay at the Wigan Holiday Inn Express on September 20th, 2024, I didn’t expect such a stark contrast in service at another location within the same hotel group the very next day (September 21st, 2024). This time, we experienced a completely different attitude at the front desk—rudeness and dismissiveness. Despite multiple requests for assistance, such as having my room closer to my friend’s, an hour late check-out (which my friend was granted), and fixing the issue with my room’s air conditioning (my friend’s room was fine), we were met with vague, unhelpful explanations that treating a fool. It felt like dealing with political officials dodging direct answers. For the first time ever, I left a hotel feeling genuinely angry. They might be better suited for a career in politics."

The hotel does not have a bathtub, the price is a four- or five-star hotel, the price is relatively low In short, I feel that the hotel cares more about running their restaurant and bar and adopts a waiver policy for the guest rooms."
