Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast

The accommodation boasts immaculate rooms, convenient location near downtown Ashland, personalized service, delicious breakfast, and well-appointed amenities. However, some guests found it lacking in unique features.

No surprise that Anna & Brian have made this charmer the #1 hotel in Ashland, and it has received across-the-board 5 star reviews (we give them 10). This was our first stay at Oak Hill and our visit encourages us to return. Superlatives include: beautifully appointed common areas (guest refrigerator with chilled water, tea, coffee and homemade chocolate cookies), with a lush enclosed garden with dining facilities outside too. Inside, our room (Lithia) was perfect, with spectacular amenities (rain shower,Beekind toiletries, plenty of lush bathroom and bedroom linens, an electronic bed to raise head and/or feet, and bathrobes, hairdryer, luggage rack, iron and ironing board, plenty of outlets, powerful air conditioning and ceiling fan). Our breakfast was homemade, and included berry compote, gypsy (French) toast, scrambled eggs and bacon, and fresh fruit. There’s off street (safe) parking, and every imaginable map and brochure about the Ashland environs is provided. The inn is spotlessly clean, and its charm is exceeded only by the gracious charm and hospitality of its innkeepers. Very highest recommendation.

This was undoubtedly the best bed and breakfast we have even stayed in. Anna and her husband, Brian, were accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. The breakfasts and afternoon cookies were all delicious.
