Premier Inn Ashington

Loved the beautiful location! It was quiet, peaceful, and had great staff! Wouldn't recommend the breakfast though, it was a buffet but basic and the mushrooms for example were dried out etc. Also, surprisingly, the bathroom was really fancy, too! Otherwise, as far as a Premiere Inn goes, it's a really great place if you are looking to explore the surrounding areas - I found that most iconic spots to see in the area was an hour's drive away! Bonus tip: the bar is happy to refill your water bottles for free with their filtered aqua!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was as we expected, we had everything that we needed. We paid extra for a room with a view and that's what we got. Our room over looked the lake which was such a lovely view. We will be back.

Excellent Reception staff, cleanliness, bedroom and food quality. Lovely walk in front of hotel. Even with room to the rear which overlooks a busy major road, the triple sealed glazing does a good job. The meal package represents really good value.

The stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The staff were extremely helpful whenever needed. The location near a lake is wonderful, and the seaside is just a short drive away. The food was good quality, and the bar prices were quite reasonable.

Rather disappointing. Room was ok, but far too hot, 4 of us and only 2 cups and just a couple of tea/coffees in room, it was a family room! Even though paid for internet it was none existent. Staff member on desk said they couldn't. Breakfast was most disappointing. Could only have scrambled eggs and they didn't have anymore to make any other type of egg!, selection on cold buffet and pastries very poor and not as described in literature. Only seemed to be one staff member on doing everything so, dishes piling up no one around to help most of the time. Toilets in the restaurant were really disgusting and no toilet roll. There was a cleaner on duty who was doing the play area. Overall very poor!

Ashington Premier Inn delivered exactly what we were looking for. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, A clean and good sized double room, Very comfortable bed ,bedding and functionable furniture. Ability to alter the temperature of the room with touch digital display. Suitable ensuite with good power shower. En suite could have had a shelf to put toileteries on. WiFi was not that good. Good food selection, adequate parking and value for money. I would recommend staying there.
