They may not be available outside of these dates. Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.The hot tub chemicals are balanced twice a week. The tech is onsite for approximately 15 minutes. Hot tub use is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions or skin sensitivities. Completely remodeled from head to bottom, this adorable cabin is perfect to come home to after a day of hiking around Mt Rainier. Furnished with comfort in mind. The beautiful, tree filled grounds include a fire pit, BBQ area, picnic table and 6 person hot tub. Please note that during fire season, the fire pit is not to be used. Just five miles from the Nisqually Entrance, the only entrance that is open year round, of Mount Rainier. One could spend a month and hike every day and not even make a dent in all of the beautiful trails surrounding Ashford.The cabin is centrally located to the galleries and restaurants in town.The hot tub is private and open air to gaze at the stars. Our River House is set along the beautiful Nisqually river bed. With majestic views of the water and mountains. This home is set on 1/2 of an acre lot in a cabin community. You can see other cabins but it does have a private feel. It also has a bit more room to spread out with open living room full dining area and 2 bedrooms. Main bedroom has a Cozy Log queen bed. 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed and a lovely Canopy Log queen bed. Kick back in the living room with wood burning fireplace, rustic decor and cozy hide a bed couch. Full size Kitchen has been updated with live edge slab oak counters, antiqued cabinets, dishwasher, microwave, range, fridge and dining table for 6. Hot tub set next to large entraining deck overlooking the water and Mt Rainier foot hills. Propane BBQ is ready for your grilling needs! Loaded with amenities , you will have everything you could need or want! Top bunk isn’t suited for adults. Hide a bed in living room is a full. We have Portable Generator, propane heater keep you warm, but we do also provide bottled water, a propane stove (with propane) and lanterns/flashlights just in case this happens.
