Booked two rooms in the in the Spa building for my wife and I and a separate room for our son and spouse. This was birthday gift for both of them, and the package included dinner and Brunch. The rooms were very clean, bright and had a great view over the river. These rooms have all amenities including a whirlpool tub, coffee maker, log effect fire, and air conditioning. The rooms look to have been recently renovated and were spotless. The dinner package was excellent with a great menu and delicious food that was cooked perfectly, and the same can be said about the buffet brunch. The staff could not have been friendlier and we were made to feel very welcome. This is not our first visit and we will be returning again shortly. Thank you for the hospitality.

The first thing I noticed was the spectacular surroundings. The grounds are beautiful! The next was the friendly, professional greeting. My very comfortable room overlooked a picture perfect pond. I stayed two days and enjoyed every minute. The meals were top notch and delicious, and the service was second to none. This is a very special place and I’ll be back soon. Thank you Benmiller Inn staff!!

We booked a weekend here expecting much more than we got. Our room was tiny but comfortable., however we had to negotiate a steep spiral staircase to get to it carrying our luggage. The restaurant was fully booked both nights we were there so we had to venture out to eat. We are both seniors so the stairway was quite daunting.

Ben Miller in very romantic place. The problem being it is so extremely poorly maintenance that the place looks horrible. The hallways stink of rotten carpet. We booked a room in the Mill overlooking Maitland River. She said there was a view. 25 years ago there was 60' x 30' tree covering the whole balcony and the fire escape. No view nothing the parking lot. That'll be rated why it's only a one as far as my room, it smelt bad there's a lot of dysfunctional things that are not getting repaired. Come in the main entrance. There's a huge slab of concrete sliding away from the building. That's holding the sidewalk. Great impression Foods. Fabulous service is fabulous. The maintenance is horrible. My opinion need to trim the tree so you can have a room that's got a view of a Maitland, which it would be beautiful that the tree was trimmed or don't sell it as the view of the Maitland thank you.

Taken to a lovely table at the back by a window beside a brook, butterflies, wildflowers. Explained I was celiac, given an explanation of what I could eat from the menu. Ordered a cider (it was room temp, so ice in the glass), ordered the chicken linguini which came very quickly after the drink, it was delicious and soon after the server came to check, I asked if it was gluten free and was asked if I ordered GF, and if it wasn’t GF, would I like another one??? Soon a chicken carbonara came, I asked if it was GF, was assured it was, but almost at the end of the dish was a lone linguini noodle! I was comp’d the cider, but charged for the pasta, though it should have been the other way around. Apologies from the server, not from the kitchen or manager. Not a good experience-not safe for celiacs. Even though they were busy, celiac gluten free needs obviously were not taken seriously by any one, so not recommended.

Where to start? After booking I received an email from Murray, a random person that was emailed all my personal information by the front desk at the Benmiller. Cancelled that credit card. When notified, the front desk sent Murray an apology. Never did apologize to me, instead said it was a 'learning moment '. When checking in I confirmed the suite had a jacuzzi. Front desk clerk described in glowing detail where the jacuzzi was and how big the suite was. Nope, no jacuzzi. They offered to move us yo a spa room. Checked out the spa room. Tiny, not even a shower, but yes, a small jacuzzi imbedded in the wall. Stayed in the suite. It was hot so ran the air conditioning all night. Room never got below 27C. Tried to open a window, bolted shut. Went for dinner. Explained my wife is celiac. First thing they brought her was a hot dinner roll. Nope. Second thing was her white wine. It was room temperature ie, hot. Property was also in disrepair and dirty. What a shame. We've been coming here for years. Never again.

Lovely grounds....we had a large room with fridge which was ideal, and a small balcony overlooking pond.. Furniture and carpet needs updating, but we only stayed for 1 night so didn't really bother us, friendly Receptionist..we had breakfast included in our price... breakfast was good.

Staff service cleanliness dinner were perfect. Pool was awesome. Breakfast did not have any options foe those who just want toast. The scone was actually a cold biscuit no butter . Reminded me of pillsbury dough. Other than that its good. Some areas need a reno.
