The beautiful five-story hotel is just minutes from Downtown Asheville through the tunnel.
Guests have access to many stores/restaurants within walking distance. Underground parking is available to a limited number of guests.
The hotel was one of the cleanest I ever stayed. It smelled clean upon entering. Check-in was a breeze, and the staffers were apparent and willing to assist.
The comfortable lobby is inviting. There is also a tiny convenience center in addition to a small business center that has a few computers and printer access.
The other guest amenities include a small gym, an excellent indoor/outdoor pool with a go-between door, and a small spa.
The breakfast area is huge, with indoor and outdoor seating with views of the mountains. Breakfast included pancakes, eggs, breakfast meats, cereal, oatmeal, yogurts, donuts/danishes, and robust unlimited coffee. (24hrs)
We were upgraded to a vast and comfortable two-room, full amenities suite with balconies with a view of the Great Smokies. The king bed was soft and very comfortable. The shower had good pressure with an integrated soap dispenser. There were plenty of towels.

Enjoyed our two night stay. So convenient to the Biltmore, restaurants and shopping. So clean and inviting. Enjoyed the complimentary daily breakfast. Would definitely book the Holiday Inn Express the next time we are in the area.

Quick trip, stayed one night.rooms are big, and well laid out with lots of storage.

The hardest part was finding the actual hotel driveway with GPS !

Hotel was very nice and comfortable, perfect location to downtown. Room was great with a wonderful bed. Parking was a little difficult with small isles and one way traffic.

We stayed in 2 queen beds room for 2 nights with little kids. The room was clean, the receptionist was very friendly, and we could stay comfortable. Some small thing we noticed, they don't have shower hoses in their regular rooms which means it was not easy to give kids shower.
