Nice hotel good location

Rob at the front desk reached out to me in the most helpful meaningful fashion I have experienced in a very long time. I also found Patty and Mary Ann to have very caring demeanors. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat, due to the quality of staffing

We were surprised that this was one of the finest hotel we have stayed. The view from our 12th floor room looking over the city was amazing. The large windows made it all the more wonderful. Everything else was top notch. We enjoyed a great breakfast with superior service. This is the only hotel we will use in Ashville. By the way, the price was surprisingly low.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Renaissance Asheville! The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. The front office staff deserves special kudos for their exceptional service and friendliness. A special shoutout to Sharon at the front desk, she was incredibly helpful with her recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails in Asheville. Thanks to her, we had some of the best meals and enjoyed breathtaking hikes. Her local knowledge truly enhanced our trip. I highly recommend The Renaissance Asheville to anyone visiting the area. Can't wait to come back!

Be very careful! I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I accidentally left 3 rings (gold and diamonds) on top of the base of a lamp that was on the desk in the room. We checked out and left the hotel. One hour later I realized that I had left my 3 rings in the room. I returned to the hotel desperate to look for them, since they have a high sentimental and economic value. After explaining what had happened at the front desk, they asked the manager of the housekeepers and told me that they had not found anything in the room. I asked to go to the room with the person in charge of the cleaning department. He asked by phone to the two people who had entered to clean the room after I left the hotel and they said that they had not seen anything. It was impossible that they had not seen them. They gave me answers that were absurd and not reasonable, and they expected me to be satisfied by listening to their answers. I had to call the police, and the general manager of the hotel who does not work on weekends. After more than 2 hours of waiting and asking to speak to the people who cleaned the room, my rings suddenly appeared. They said they were lying on the floor. Right there, the 3 rings together on the floor far from where I had left them. All the employees, especially the receptionist "Lili", said that we were implying that the housekeepers had stolen our rings and that the rings were not in the room. One of the two employees who entered the room grabbed my rings knowing who the owners were. With a panicked face, they gave me back my rings. The worst experience I have ever had in a hotel.

We stayed here one night with our two pups. Very friendly and helpful staff and they are very welcoming of pets. Unfortunately, after check out, on reviewing our bill, we saw that we were charged $50 for each of our small, well behaved and well trained pups ($100). This, despite the website stating $50 pet fee and the front desk employee saying the fee would be $50 - even when he saw we had two pets. Also, even if you self park you are still charged $25 per night. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice and strong, and the breakfast was great with a variety of choices. Not sure we would stay here again.
