The location is breathtaking, completely surrounded by nature and on a hill. The castle is very beautiful, even the typical furnishings and accommodations are welcoming. The spa disappointed me a bit, it wasn't worth paying €10 per person but the breakfast was delicious and rich!
Overall the value for money is right.
Then the girls at the reception were very nice, I had forgotten a necklace and they found it for me and kept it until my return to retrieve it.

We stayed here for a family weekend wedding, for which the whole venue was hired, and what an experience! Good things....food, weather, service, accommodation, activities, attention to detail. Bad things.....hangover(sorted with a quick swim) and having to leave. Wonderful setting in the rolling hills of Tuscany, and ideal for our requirements. Would return in a heartbeat!

The location is so peaceful and beautiful. Location is everything and the only thing. Rooms were not comfortable for a 4 star property. Poor ventilation and an alarm beeping all night betrays the peaceful surrounding. Come see the resort for it's tranquil setting but don't expect that to translate into a good nights sleep.

It was a beautiful week even though we didn't have good weather on our side the outline of this wonderful place a painted postcard ... every place visited .. and the castle well a fairy tale. .from the panorama to the party room where the breakfast was like a king☺️to the dinners with a really top service...Thanks to everyone but absolutely everyone from Ms Tina who surprised us with an even more beautiful room than the one we booked for Stefano and Carola (I don't remember all the names) but I don't exclude anyone and the massage lady Catia if I remember correctly what to say masseuse is null ... her essence passes through her hands .. thank you very much. We have always found ourselves travelling, trying to stay in structures where we could feel good, at ease, in tranquility and with respect for the guest and very few times have we felt as well as in the Castello di Leonina! It was a wonderful discovery. The wonderful location overlooking the Sienese hills, the large, clean room, clearly with furniture that reflects the theme of the structure, namely a castle! Excellent breakfast, the very kind staff and not out of duty but, one perceives, out of love for their work. In the restaurant, just a few meters off reception, we had a wonderful dinner, excellent chef and all the staff. And then there is a gem, which I recommend to everyone, to have a massage with Catia, which, moreover, is not a simple massage but a great emotion!!! Thanks Catia and thanks to all the guys who work in this fantastic place. Barbara and Mark.

Booked a long weekend over New Years. Nothing to complain about the location. The place is charming, isolated on a hill overlooking the Crete Senesi. The organization of the dinner and the show was perfect. Having chosen half board we always ate dinner in the hotel. The cuisine of the restaurant was of an excellent standard including the dinner with a very wide choice of dishes. Perfect breakfast with choices of various kinds and still very abundant. The ladies at the reception are very kind. In short, all very pleasant to the point of always feeling at our perfect ease. However, I cannot give full marks because, contrary to friends who have obviously been more fortunate, our room was very disappointing. Very small, to the point that in certain circumstances one had to be careful not to open the wardrobe and bathroom doors at the same time because they are conflicting. Perhaps even with some details indicative of not excessive maintenance. Too bad, because the rest, as mentioned, was all in the name of excellence.
