We had some problems getting to the hotel, as Google maps insisted on pointing us to another deserted building down the street (which also had a sign Takasago onsen). The hotel itself is very similar to other big spa hotels we stayed in, reasonably comfortable rooms, big buffet meals, but the quality of the food was so so, but the highlight of the place was the onsen, with about 10 inside pools and a nice outside jacuzzi. I guess that was the big attraction for all the tourist groups.
