Hotels near Mogami River in Asahi

As the name suggests, it was a place full of nature, I was very worried about the air shrine, so I am satisfied to see it. The children were very excited with ostrich and rabbits, it seems that there were hanging and park golf, but this time I enjoyed tennis as scheduled. It was a hard court, but tennis on a plateau rich in nature was pleasant, and the price was reasonable and thankful The accommodation was a cottage, but when I saw the word of mouth, I was prepared because there was a beetle, but ５ the moon had feathers I was in the room, but I was relieved because I didn't come out before I was first found by my child. I thought it was a barbecue in the garden, and it was a barbecue inside because there were a large crowd outside. The room itself was the house, so there was a bath, but there was a large communal bath, so it was comfortable to use the sauna. I slept with my whole family in the loft, but I was tired and I was able to sleep well, I want to use it again

It was a hotel directly connected to Yamagata Station. The weather was good on the day I stayed, the mountain 々 was clear at dusk, and I was able to see a beautiful moon at night. If you walk in front of the station, there are restaurants and supermarkets, so I think it's not troublesome to stay. There was also a convenience store on the １ floor. I would like to take care of you again when you go to Yamagata.

I just about 5-7 minutes walk from the station. Is really a nice hotel. Looks very new and room size is good. I really like the restaurant downstairs. The beef is one of the best I ever have. Also discount for hotel guests. Same restaurant for breakfast.

We were really happy to stay in this hotel. The location was very central and connected with other mean of transportations (busses and trains) which is very beneficial if you are going to visit Zao Onsen or Ginzan Onsen. They also connected to this mall S-Pal (with supermarkets and small resto). The room very clean and full with amenities. The staff really helpfull. No complain at all.

In any case, the size of the TV is larger than the size of the room very good! The best hotel ever! And the breakfast is delicious, I like it!

Booked this hotel last minute since our original hotel cancelled on us. We were a family of four and booked two rooms, but we got two sets of interconnecting rooms (so four rooms in total) upon checking in for the exact same price. Onsen bath was small, but very clean and the breakfast was fulfilling. For the price we paid, it was a superb value. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Yamagata region, though would recommend renting a car to get around.

I stayed here for the first time. The site is near Sagae station and is located in a place where you can easily find it. It feels old, but it is a big and splendid building with more depth than it looks from the front. I arrived at night, but the front of the facility and the parking lot had been properly cleared of snow. Stayed in a twin room. The room looks a little old like the exterior, but it was clean and had everything you need. This hotel has sanitizing alcohol everywhere, but it is a good impression that it is also in the guest room. There are very few lodging facilities that do this. I felt that I was very careful about infection control. The reason I chose this place is the location and hot springs. The building is big, so you have to walk a little to get to the hot spring bath. The open-air bath is closed in winter, and there is only an indoor bath. The medium-sized bath has two spouts, and it seems that the set temperature is slightly different on the left and right sides of the bath. On this day, the hot water of the ”sodium chloride spring” had a color between dark brown and greenish yellow. The indoor bath was labeled as slightly lukewarm, but I felt it was generally a little hotter. There was no chlorine disinfection in the hot water, and I was able to feel a very fragrant smell. The spring quality of this hot spring is 5 out of 5 without any complaints. There are eight washrooms surrounding the bathtub, but half of them are unusable due to the corona measures. When I asked the hotel staff, they said that the open-air bath in the courtyard, which was closed, is not that big. Breakfast the next morning is a buffet. It was a private room like a conference room, and the shielding plate was properly installed. However, it seems that they are refraining from replenishing the dishes, probably because there were few guests. When there are few guests, I would personally appreciate it if you had a set menu. Breakfast felt a little unsatisfactory. In other words, if you expect the quality of the hot springs, the evaluation will go up, and if you expect the facilities and food, the evaluation will probably go down a little. The customer service was something that made me feel the simple locality.

Just off the deck in front of Yamagata Station, good access along the big street in front of the station. It is also convenient to the restaurant town in front of the station. Because it is not a big hotel, there is no special feature, but the room is clean and comfortable, there is no luxury, but there is also a free breakfast, and the price was relatively reasonable. The minimum required functions were complete and perfect to stay simple. In addition, since there is no parking lot around, it is difficult to park far away (opposite the main street, parking JA Yamagata, ３ block away). It is recommended for those who don't care about here.

The hot water temperature is also suitable for temperature The panorama view from the bathtub was also good 〈 meal 〉 Impression that there were many white rice, sushi, noodles and carbohydrates for dinner The amount was sufficient but only the thick seasoning overall. Even the people felt less 々 thick but rich in food and delicious 〈 customer service 〉 polite customer service, the female staff was friendly with a smile to the child Overall, I was able to stay comfortably without dissatisfaction.

We arrived at Mt Zao in the middle of Our Epic Six Week Trip To Japan, during which we stayed in nine different hotels. This room was amongst my favourites. The staff largely didn't speak English and were not helpful. We had a stand off at the restaurant as we didn't understand that we couldn't dine at there without having made a booking far in advance. After this was explained,  there was no apology or suggestions for alternative dining options. There are limited dining options in Zao. We ate at the Soup Curry place one night and a cute sushi joint another night. On the last night we ended up getting an ebiken bento box from the local L****ns as nothing was open. We did book breakfast each morning and that was fantastic. Lots of Japanese and Western options and it seemed like the food had all been prepared onsite. The hotel is very pretty, with a lovely view of the forest from the lobby. There is a common room with free coffee, tea and ice creams. People were pretty friendly in there. The hotel is the furthest from the 'town' but the closest to the ski lift and to the 'sulfurous' onsen. The ski lift is about 50 metres from the hotel and the ride up and down is spectacular. I thought the onsen was top notch. The sulfurous onsen outside has milky water that is supposed to be good for your complexion. It was fun having an onsen with snow all around. We stayed in the Western style room - it was spacious and well appointed. Our little lounge area had a beautiful view of pine trees and lots of snow. There was also a similar view from the luxurious bath tub (but I didn't use that tub as the onsen was so good.) The beds in our room were very hard. Our room also had a massage chair which I used for hours a time. It was a bit of a trek getting to Mt Zao. The hotel staff weren't very helpful with organising buses but they did drop us off at the bus stop early in the morning and we were picked up on our day of arrival. I know that the staff weren't friendly to us because of the language barrier, which is a shame because everyone should enjoy this venue. I would stay here again for sure. Next time we'll book the dinner set. It did smell amazing ! --
