"I'm a Japanese woman traveling with a friend to Arusha and stayed here for two days. Arusha was very safe, and the people were very kind.
The owner of Raha Leo Inn was very kind from check-in to check-out. We stayed for two days, and he checked if we needed breakfast in the morning and prepared it right away. We were also planning to travel to Dar es Salaam after our stay, but we hadn't yet booked our express bus, so he recommended an express bus company the day before we left. This was very helpful, as we weren't sure what to do.
Our room was a single-story building on the first floor and was just the right size for two people. Amenities included toilet paper and hand soap. There were no bugs, and the bed and interior were clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was available. The hotel's exterior and lobby were very stylish, which I really appreciated.
Thank you for your hospitality."
"We arrived in Arusha at the same time as the President! So, trafic was chaotic. Entry is down a rough gravel road, but once the security gate slides back: welcome to paradise. A stunning large home set in a beautifully maintained garden. Idyllic!! Walter is a fantastic and obliging host. Food was great; room was clean and well serviced. Cannot fault the stay and will return."
"First of all, this price includes a hearty breakfast. I don't want to be picky. It's just that some rooms have bedbugs on the beds. If you get bitten, you will feel uncomfortable and itchy all over.
The service is very good. The location is also very good."
"Overall, it is ok, worthy of this price (the local area is generally more expensive). Arusha is a safari transfer station. There are many travel agencies and hotels on the road. Everyone is cautious."
"Restaurant is very good for a variety of food options and beers.
Room is dated and can be noisy (road, noisy bar on the weekend) but good for a short stay before safari. A few food options around / cafes as well as convenience stores and currency exchange.
The exchange is much better in Tanzania than Kenya but it seemed harder to pay with a bank card in Tanzania."

"The hotel I booked for a business trip, the service attitude was very good, they changed other rooms for me if the room was not suitable, the breakfast variety was ok, the environment was very comfortable, I will choose this hotel again next time I go on a business trip."
"This hotel is actually an apartment. After the evening, the front desk was unattended. There was an old man who could not speak English on duty. He barely completed the check-in with Google Translate. It took a long time to confirm that I had paid in advance. Enter the room, it is OK in Arusha facilities, but pay attention to the room without drinking water, you have to buy it yourself, and the hot water has to be turned on in advance, the amount is not large, and it will be washed soon. The surrounding area is the center of Arusha, and it may be a bit noisy at night."
"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was very good.
The room was separated from the room where the TV was seen and the bedroom was cheap, but it was wide 々. Breakfast was delicious and he was willing to accept me when I asked him to get the time earlier. All the staff were kind and friendly. I was relieved that there were many female staff. It seems to be a new hotel and the facilities are beautiful. This is a very recommended hotel!"
"The hotel opened in 2019. The design and facilities in the room are very new. The safe does not need to enter the password every time, and the makeup 🪞 is also automatically dimmed. The design and decoration color matching of the hotel are very fashionable. The view from the rooftop bar is very good. If you miss the dinner time, you can have a light meal there and enjoy the Meru Mountain opposite, which is said to be the second highest mountain in Tanzania. The only shortcoming of the hotel is that the city view room is very close to the hotel's equipment room and the noise is very loud. It's okay to close the balcony door during the day, but people who are sensitive to noise at night should not choose the city view room."

Amazing
YyxineMy friend and me stayed here for four nights after our safari ended in Arusha.
Our room is spacious with many amenities available such as table/chairs and a TV. There are also three power sockets, which is always appreciated. There were no wardrobe and fridge but some hooks were available for hanging clothes. Hot water is available in the bathroom although the water pressure could be stronger. Our shower area tends to flood due to bad drainage, and I even dropped my clothes into the water once. The room is clean but a little dim at night. Windows have anti-bug screens and curtains, which are essential to block the sun’s intensity in the morning. Wifi works like a charm.
The front reception counter is usually empty as the hotel staff tends to congregate in the kitchen instead. They were quite helpful and lent me a laptop to do some file transfers between my various devices when asked. The daily breakfast provided tasted average. The location is a little far from town and we needed to engage a driver from Bolt app for most day activities. There are no grocery stores nearby but it’s possible to buy some mineral water from the kitchen staff.
This hotel is near to a mosque so it’s periodically noisy in the morning and evening. It is also near to the main road so we will hear loud traffic every now and then. That said, I was able to sleep relatively well every night. The rate here is pretty cheap for a twin room so I felt this stay was quite value for money.
SShandianjiankeThe room is very hygienic 👌🏻, but the area is slightly smaller, the security measures are also very perfect, the service attitude is particularly good, the hotel environment is also very good, there is a swimming pool, there are bars and restaurants, breakfast is very rich, it is recommended
MM260764****I stayed at the Arusha Sheraton before, when prices were not so high. Come back now, the environment is still good, but the decoration facilities have not changed much. At the same price, it is no longer possible to stay in the same room type [previously booked without Ctrip]. The hotel's breakfast is good, with many varieties and choices. The lunch buffet at US$20 per person is much more cost-effective than before. If I come back again in the future, as long as the price is right, I will continue to choose here.
KKevin romanThe staff were very friendly and helped to organize the transport to Kilimanjaro airport. The driver was extremely kind and friendly. The rooms were also quite clean. I had an issue with some noise from the AC units in my room, also the wifi does not really work in the room, making it very difficult to contact people. The food in the restaurant is decent, though took longer than expected. The place is well maintained, though seemed to be quite empty.
JJason2023Good value, nice clean hotel, quiet location, not many food options around but the Wildebeest restaurant next door was good for a local (but good for westerners) food and cheap beers.
Good breakfast for Africa.
Would stay again.
FFabian Lemuel Pillay Very friendly front-desk woman who carried my bags in. Room was clean and they even agreed to hold my bag for me while I do my safari trip. Restaurant was great too and well-priced and good quality. One of the better places I’ve stayed at. Also near to an ATM and a supermarket which helped! Would definitely recommend.
