The hotel opened in 2019. The design and facilities in the room are very new. The safe does not need to enter the password every time, and the makeup 🪞 is also automatically dimmed. The design and decoration color matching of the hotel are very fashionable. The view from the rooftop bar is very good. If you miss the dinner time, you can have a light meal there and enjoy the Meru Mountain opposite, which is said to be the second highest mountain in Tanzania. The only shortcoming of the hotel is that the city view room is very close to the hotel's equipment room and the noise is very loud. It's okay to close the balcony door during the day, but people who are sensitive to noise at night should not choose the city view room.

I loved everything about the Gran Melia Arusha! So impressed with the sustainability and green development of this property ! It’s a beautiful hotel with an amazing, friendly, helpful staff! Great menus & food choices in the restaurants and pool bar. Enjoyed a wonderful spa treatment and the steam bath and sauna. The fitness / gym was great. One stand out employee was Sabrah. Her smile and personal attention left a lasting impression on me. I look forward to my next visit! Grateful!

Beautiful hotel for our first noght in Tanzania. Perfectly located in between Serengeti and Kilimanjaro. 20 mins away from Arusha air *****. Super friendly staff and very modern and well kept rooms. There is a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro from out room.

This is only a review of the restaurant, The Roof Top. Really good food with a fantastic view of the mountain. I ordered the meat platter, and it was quite a lot of food, and the best I tasted in Arusha. Good wine and drinks too. I wish I also stayed at this hotel.

Beautiful restaurant with a great food good ambiance good service and good choice of food too The food was so delicious and service was really great the dish rib eye steak was so yummy and I ate the whole thing even though it was quite heavy for one person. Rib eye steak was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will recommend THE GRILL RESTAURANT in Gran Melia as our choice at any time

Excellent hotel , sparklingly clean with highly attentive staff. Excellent check in procedure. Fine restaurants with great food and highly professional service. Very nice pool and gardens . The span was an experience which was at the next level in terms of facilities and service.

What a wonderful experience! From The moment we arrived we were treated to luxury. A warm welcome despite it being three am! Our rooms were immaculate and well equipped. The restaurants were great and reasonably priced. The gym and pool were lovely. Refreshingly cold in the pool but wonderful poolside service couldn’t be faulted. Highly recommended.

It is a very Luxury place to experience a holliday if your in Arusha and you plan to go for Safari, the view of the Mount Meru is amazing and their pool is so adorable, The fresh air from the garden is spetacular which make you feel your connected to Nature, it an amaizing hotel with beautfuly enviroments, The sercives and kindness from staff is exceptional.
