Very good experience, one of the best place to stay in this national park, good ambiance and food , rooms are not that great but you can’t expect more than what it’s available. Friendly and helpful staff . Very good performances at night overall good entertainment at the end.

Comfortable, friendly and surprisingly luxurious in some ways! We arrived in Arusha 3 nights early before an OAT trip, and spent those nights at Arusha Safari Lodge before joining our group at a different lodge. We were very happy to have stayed there. We (my wife and I and a travelling companion) had two "rooms" (they're really rather spacious standalone cottages) facing the swimming pool. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed seemed larger than a US king-sized bed. If I were to go again (I'd love to, but there are so many other places to see in life) I'd ask for the same rooms again. The staff (especially the manager, Faith, and the receptionist, Lotha (who doubled as a tour guide for us on the third day), were terrific. The food (especially one candlelight dinner during a blackout - they were upgrading the electrical system while we were there and couldn't switch to generator until a couple of hours later) was quite good. We did tours in the area during the daytime using other resources (Tours by Locals and Viator) the first two days, but both days we then thoroughly enjoyed having a glass of wine before dinner while sitting at the pool. On the third day the receptionist, Lotha, took us for a 3.5 hour morning walking tour of the grounds (it used to be a colonial-era polo club!) and the surrounding village. This included a stop at an informal school (go!) and a marvelous introduction to real life in the area. If that walk is still offered, it's highly recommended. Actually, the only negative i can think of is the road to the lodge; long, unpaved and unmaintained, it is in such bad condition that I was quite surprised when a non-four-wheel-drive vehicle actually got through (albeit very, very slowly and carefully). This was a lucky find.

Climbing Kilimanjaro was a life changing experience. My trip was enhanced by staying at Arusha Safari Lodge pampered by Faith and her team. Bed was so soft and staff very friendly. Our climbing team stayed there before and after our summit. So appreciated their care and interest in our comfort and safety. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept.

The place just needs to shutdown already. the food is expensive for nothing, the water in the shower is dirty and their excuse is the bathrooms haven't been used in a while that's why! Not to mention the electricity problem at night leading to sleeping in darkness. Never been disappointed this much, just find somewhere else to take your money.

I stayed here for one night during an organized tour. It is a beautiful colonial style lodge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lunch and dinner are in the form of an a la carte three course menu and breakfast is buffet style. The cottages look a bit old fashioned, but are stylish and clean.

Very spacious room with a huge balcony and swing overlooking Kilimanjaro. Tour of the surrounding area with a hotel guide: lots of explanations about trees, birds and customs: top notch. Downside: little water flow in the bathtub and no hairdryer. You have to pay for water. Super good food.

In this establishment the rooms are correct. This will be the only thing to remember. We were the only ones in the hotel, I understood why!! The staff (apart from the young waiter) is unpleasant. Difficulty getting wifi even at reception. We finished a candlelit dinner. Breakfast is lousy and dinner more than average. There is a charge for water (whereas in the other establishments we visited it was free). When you want to pay by credit card they press the red button and say that it doesn't work and that there is a connection problem. Beer is not the same price every night. The price of drinks is double that of other hotels.

Spacious room but unfortunately freezing. We were colder in this hotel than in the middle of the parks :( Pretty unanimous opinion with the other people. If you arrive in the morning: either the weather is nice and you can enjoy the unheated swimming pool and therefore very cold, or it The weather is not nice and there is absolutely nothing to do because it is far from everything. The staff will help you discover the "park" and accompany you to visit the 2 chickens, 4 coffee plants and 2 banana trees. is just too much.... in return for a small ticket.... Meal without more. Hotel with little charm.

This lodge located a few kilometers from Arusha is located in a superb wooded and green environment. The staff is very helpful (dinner served very late the evening of our arrival by plane), the rooms (cottage) spacious and comfortable. Be careful the nights are cold in August!
