This was my second time staying at the African Tulip, for an all too short stay of one night, arriving late in the evening and leaving (sadly) early morning. The hotel was very welcoming and, despite it being late, brought out soup and beer (they would have happily made a full meal if we wished). The rooms are nice. I love the decor The pool area is pretty with lovely flowers and the people are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast, a mix of Western and Tanzanian hot dishes. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood and is very elegant and comfortable. It was our third time visiting the African tulip and we loved the decoration, the service and the ambience of the hotel. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Arusha.

The personalized service was top notch ! During Christmas eve , the hotel had a special dinner , guitarist and even we played a raffle . There were gifts for each of us in our rooms. On Christmas day , the hotel put some souvenirs on our tables. It was breathtaking! The rooms are sparkling clean with a visit by the attendants twice a day . The swimming pool is a reasonable size and safe for children and those new or moderate swimmers. The food was delicious and was a great variety. Food orders placed with the hotel were received quickly . As a big family of 13 guests , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

We started our safari from this hotel. Everything was good and the staff was very helpful. We had an issue since we forgot our key to our luggage at home but the staff were helpful and we were able to get our luggage opened. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

One of the best hotels in Arusha. Great space, clean and great service. The room was cleaned and made daily during my stay. The food served at the hotel was also mouth watering with amazing great cuisine. The staff is friendly and professional, helpful and ready to give advice. Definitely going back. Loved my stay.

Everything was beautiful. Gives you all the feels before you start your safari and actually to have been able to stay another night or 2 would have been great. We are coeliac and required GF food- which was also beautiful. Staff were most welcoming and helpful and warm. Adored this hotel, only wish we could have stayed more than a night

The hotel was charming. The rooms were well-decorated. The pool was lovely after a long day of travelling. The food in the restaurant was good. I accidentally left an item of clothing and they followed up with me and reunited my garment with me. I would recommend this hotel if you are going to be staying in Arusha.

Excellent service, quiet environment, everything is clean, safe. It was good to be here and take a breather after a day's work. The location of the hotel is very good - you can reach the desired places both on foot and by car. The environment is very tidy. Security is on duty all day.
