Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge
4.5/540 Reviews
This was the starting point of our 8 Day Tanzania Safari trip. We spent our first night here- met by a warm welcome group and assigned our personal staff member 'Praygod'- we were well taken care of the entire time, and we made a good friend! What a beautiful coffee lodge with excellent food, service and incredible rooms/bungalows. The bungalows were luxurious and spacious. We also enjoyed the entertaining monkeys :) traversing throughout the property. The staff and service was top notch! Thank you to all, especially Praygod!
Didas Villa
4.5/57 Reviews
Beautiful and Homely place with the most amazing staff. We had a great stay here. The area was quiet and a short distance from good restaurants and sites. The outdoor was very cozy, neat and very well kept. We loved the numerous flowers and plants that dotted the whole place. The rooms were very clean and well arranged with all amenities in place. The Wi-Fi was strong and great for a working holiday. The breakfast was delicious and hearty. Being on a road trip, we visited other areas that were a let-down and we just had to come back to Didas because of their hospitality. They showered us with true Tanzanian love! We will definitely be going back there again and again.
Arusha Serena Hotel
4.5/558 Reviews
Beautiful lodge that looks much more beautiful in real life than in the hotel's official photos. It has an old world vibe that transports you back in time. The landscape is so lush, and despite this, we noted there were very few mosquitos/bugs. They must do a good job of keeping them away. We stayed 1 night after arriving in JRO airport after a 24 hour long journey. Despite arriving quite late (around 10:30pm due to delays at the airport), they still prepared dinner for us and made sure we didn't go to bed hungry. When we asked what time the kitchen closes, they said ”when you are done.” We really appreciated that! The room was simple but comfortable, with AC. It was a peaceful place to rest before continuing on our safari in the northern circuit.
The New Njiro Legacy
4.5/542 Reviews
Judy and Lucy were incredibly helpful throughout our stay at Njiro Legacy. They were always around with a smile, making sure we had everything we needed. The swimming pool and the quiet surroundings made it feel like a true getaway. The food? Outstanding! The chef deserves all the praise for the delicious meals. Will definitely be back.
Fun Retreat Resort, Hotel and Ayurveda Spa
4.3/543 Reviews
From the moment we arrived at Fun Retreat Resort, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and a refreshing welcome drink from second reception, setting the tone for our stay. Our executive rooms with a lovely garden view and really nature was nothing short of breathtaking... The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after our days of adventure. Salt & Pepper restaurant & 360’ bar were highlights of our trip.. The service staff were attentive and knowledgeable, recommending local wines that paired beautifully with our meals. One of our favorite experiences was the daily yoga sessions by the beautiful Oasis garden. The gentle sound of birds and the soft green grass beneath our feet created a serene environment that helped us to make it. The resort also has a blessing of clear image of mount Meru and bit of Kilimanjaro which was truly magical. Overall, our stay at Fun Retreat Resort was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The staff's attention to detail, the stunning surroundings, and the incredible dining options made this trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to return. Me & my whole team recommend this place when one visit in Arusha.
