Le Tahiti by Pearl Resorts

Loved the view from our room! Our room was located a bit away from the reception/pool area but we had a rental car. The staff are great! The rooms are ok - need more basic things in the kitchen, but there was plenty of room to move around. Would stay here again. Mauruuru.

This room was fantastic. The property sits on a black sand beach and has a very large pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only minor issue was that the WiFi was very spotty. When we checked out, the receptionist told us that there is a setting for iOS devices that is needed for a more stable connection, so be sure to check with them when you arrive.

Good for a couple of nights We stayed here after a 15 day cruise. On a positive start, the front desk staff was amazing! We forgot an adapter and they found us one for my husband's cpap. The pool area was beautiful except the hot tub was dirty and out of order. Our room on the 5th floor in building 3 was 2 story with spectacular floor to ceiling windows on both floors. You can't beat the view. One problem the shears were missing so choice is black out curtains or hot afternoon sun beating in, however, each night the sunsets were spectacular. Hot water was iffy every late afternoon early evening. There is a place for a refrigerator, but it was ripped out and I was told they did that because they had problems with the mini bar. I think it's because they have an ant infestation and didn't want food in rooms. Or maybe so you had to keep buying their food. Some of the food was good some was not. It was hit or miss and the same thing with the service for food and drinks. Lots of free entertainment that was enjoyable. We booked a snorkel trip through the activities people in the boutique, and it was the best snorkeling we've ever done. The free bus ride to and from Papeete was entertaining with the whole bus singing with our driver. There is no where to eat nearby, so you're options are limited. We had leftover pizza and they charged us $2.50 for a box to take it to room! If you need a place to land before or after a flight or cruise it's a good option for a couple of days. Easy cab to airport.

The beach where the hotel resides is beautiful, but the hotel is overcrowded and very noisy. Also, it’s far from any restaurants or shops so you’re stuck at the restaurant that has very little options/opening hours. Shuttle does not work on Sundays which is not well-marketed.

Nice hotel but beware some of the staff Overall we had a good experience with this hotel. We got a free upgrade upon checking in. Our suite was huge. Our large living room has a hot tub, balcony, couch, multiple chairs and kitchen area. The separate bedroom had comfortable bed and pillows and large windows. The bathroom was large and well stocked. We enjoyed the pool, the beach, and the restaurant/bar. Our biggest problem was with the activities desk. We wanted to book a tour around the island. Their preferred vendor was sold out for all the days we would be there. We asked if they could help us contact other tour groups, since theirs was unavailable. We were very rudely and bluntly informed they would not help us with anything but their specific vendor and sent us away. The front desk was more helpful and we ended up renting a car through the front desk. We spent our entire vacation at Pearl Resort hotels on multiple islands and the attitude we received at the activities desk did not match with the staff at all their other resorts. It was a disappointing end to a fantastic vacation. We did enjoy the hotel but advise anyone visiting to about the activities desk.
