DDay Aviators

We cannot recommend this amazing establishment enough. We stayed in room B11, so in the rooms close to the beach. Everything about the room was perfect, the bed, the space & all of the collectables from WW2. The shower pressure is probably the best I have ever experienced while travelling, plus a lovely long basin in the bathroom. Lots of power outlets & lots of lighting for every room. Breakfast was lovely & such fresh croissants, with real orange juice. Staff were all amazing & we opted to go on the tour in the blue jeep, to see historical sites not traditionally visited. Loved the accommodation & especially loved the gorgeous town. We would definitely come back to this area & this accommodation.

Excellent accomodation in centre of Arromanches & only 20m to the beach Beautiful appointed room, comfortable bed, hot shower & a big breakfast. Easy check in, Paul is the perfect host and offers us much helpful advice in touring the Normandy beaches We did a tour a Half day tour in his WW2 jeep, fantastic experience with a local guide who had grown up in the area, getting to hear about the more personal experiences of the war you don’t get on a commercial bus tour

The property was ideally situated to tour all the surrounding WW2 beaches. A unique property which was fascinating and of a very high standard. Lovely welcome from Ann upon arrival.

My Best Experience Ever at a hotel. If you are visiting Normandy, this is the place to stay. It’s impeccably clean, inviting and in a great location. Paul, the owner is very passionate about WW II and his place is like a museum, full of memorabilia from the war. I asked for a room on the ground floor and my room was clean, spacious and very tastefully decorated. It even had a small kitchenette which was very useful to me. Paul carried all my luggage to my room which was located on their second facility. His knowledge about WW II in that area is impressive indeed. I stayed for 4 nights and loved every moment. The day I was to depart Paul was not available but he arranged for someone to come and help me load my luggage into my car. I did not even have to ask. I believe they treat every client with kindness and compassionate consideration. I highly recommend D Day Aviators.

The property is an Aviation Museum itself and the owner loves to explain every artifact and its significance. It is also right on the beach and Port Mulberry.

Great location for DDay history. DDay Aviators is a gem for those who have an aviation background. We stayed in a room at another building a short walk from the main house of DDay Aviators where check in and breakfast is served. The parking was a bit awkward but it’s a small village and all worked out well. Enjoy this unique hotel experience
