We loved Les Venetes from the moment we saw it! We couln't have had a friendlier welcome from Manuela at Reception, and all the staff were lovely and helpful. Located right on the water with lovely rooms overlooking the bay, Les Venetes is a lovely hotel with a terrific restaurant. There are only 9 rooms and the restaurant gets busy so book ahead! We had a delicious fresh fish 3-course supper in the evening and breakfast (fresh bread and croissants) was perfect. Our room (room 9) was in the attic, no balcony, but had a great view of the Bay, with plenty of space, light and bright decor, and a coffee maker. Our friends had rooms on the first floor with balconies. You can't swim in fron of the hotel but just a 2 minute walk takes you to the Capitanerie where the water was boat free and clean.

Awaken by the sun rise and the song of the sea gulls in a confortable room. Our best advice; choose the room 4, "Ile d'Arz", large, confortable and spacious. Delicious Breakfast in front of the sea. The Hôtel has a gourmet restaurant with 3 different menus. The Best; the Menu Homard (Looster).

This is a beautiful location, but unfortunately it was marred by an incident that has upset my family. Our family rented several rooms for two nights for a family celebration in Arradon. The second evening, a member of my family stopped to use the toilet in the lobby (as was done earlier in the day) and was treated badly by the manager. My relative did not speak French at all and so was very shaken by having someone confront and threaten him in a language he did not speak. This has been extremely upsetting to all our family. There were other small problems, but this is a matter that questions the hospitality of a place meant to welcome visitors. I am very sorry to have to report this.

My family had a very negative experience at this hotel. We had three rooms booked and my husband, who was staying elsewhere, walked my mother home to the hotel and stepped in to use the bathroom in the lobby. When he came out, a man accosted and yelled at him in French for using their toilet, even threatening to call the police on my husband. It turned out that this man, who did not introduce himself, nor ask my husband what language he spoke, nor ask if he was a guest, is the manager. When we called later to try and resolve the issue of how he had treated my husband, he hung up on us. On top of that, my parents' room ran out of both hot water and toilet paper during their two night stay, a meager breakfast cost 38 Euros, and they had trouble with parking. Between the terrible customer treatment and lack of amenities, we suggest avoiding this hotel.

A fuir.
