We found this easy to find unlike other reviewers; go past the various barns and houses to the very end of the lane and turn right where you see the small sign. Very friendly check in. Our lodge was no 6 (described as Bosrand type) and was very comfortable in a peaceful location. One side of the lodge is full windows facing the forest and in summer the windows can open up. As it was winter, we made use of the heated flooring and radiator and it was very cosy. There is a small kitchenette with 2 hob rings, kettle, coffee machine, small fridge. Enough equipment for basic cooking - being picky a toaster would be useful. We didn’t take the breakfast option which was €15pp, instead we made our own scrambled eggs. The bed was large and comfortable, with blackout curtains making the place very dark & quiet (except occasional extractor fan and boiler noise). The Tv was a bit difficult to use but eventually worked out how to log in to Netflix. We rented E-bikes to visit Veluwe which is a short cycle away. Entry to the park is €13 and there are free bikes within but we were glad of the electric ones! Plenty of other attractions nearby incl burgers zoo, open air museum & Arnhem. We ate in Il lupo one night, which is intimate (maybe 10 tables) but cosy and seemed fully booked so definitely reserve. The menu is limited (handful of pizza & pasta dishes) but the food was delicious as was the Aperol spritz & wine. The whole site is tranquil and well located with friendly staff - I would visit again.

Great place to stay, we really enjoyed the accommodation. Check-in went smoothly, and then we were given a ride to the lodge in a golf cart with our bags. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast was delivered to the door each morning in a cool box. Dietary requirements were handled. All in all, it was a good experience. I didn't have too much trouble finding the place. There is a small parking area for guests outside the large barn style building. Apparently, it was used as an aircraft hanger during WW2.

Amazing modern cabins located in the woods, definitely recommended for a stay. However, the check-in procedure experienced by Buitenplaats Petersberg would easily have to be the worst I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I am still trying to come to terms with the behavior displayed from the woman working in reception, which in the politest way possible can only be described as rude, sarcastic, arrogant and absolutely disgusting, something that a guest should never experience! Unsuccessful in locating Buitenplaats Petersberg due to lack of lighting, no sufficient signage or any information displayed etc. we drove slowly towards an entrance to a barn (which was dimly litten up). Continuing to drive slowly in the car (as this provided the only light), we were unsure if this was the correct location. Once in the barn (approx 4m in from the entrance) a lady indicated that we were correct however she was in complete disbelief and flabbergasted in how and why we would drive into the barn entrance, which she called her "home". We tried to explain and apologised multiple times but she continued to complain about the situation leaving myself and my partner very uncomfortable and feeling awkward with the entire check-in process. Eventually after her whingeing we managed to get our key, only to find out after that her behavior that night was due to her wanting to be at a work dinner, and that she was hungry. Please take close note Buitenplaats Petersberg, if you DO NOT want guests driving into your barn or so called "home" at night then put up a fence! To avoid this problem Completely, create sufficient signage and information! to be extra helpful, assemble descent lighting so your guests can actually see where to go (and park)! And finally, employ someone that can work in reception that actually respects their guests, as a paying customer I don't care if the staff are hungry or if there is a work dinner on, I am paying for this! Thankfully the check-out process was a lot smoother and friendlier.

Hello, I made a reservation via an application with this establishment from Thursday 01/18/2024 to Friday 01/19/2024. On the way I contacted the establishment to warn them of a potential delay due to a slowdown (accidented vehicles). The person's response was positive and understanding. However, I was asked to call the establishment back later (6:30 p.m.) in order to keep them informed of developments. When I contacted the establishment again as agreed, a (another) very unhappy employee first told me that the establishment's reception closed at 7 p.m. and that this information was stipulated on their site. To which I replied that my delay was due to an accident on the road and that it was impossible for me to predict it. This employee told me to call the establishment again once I arrived and that they would come and welcome me. 20 minutes later, I was contacted by the establishment (a manager) to explain to me that there would be no one to welcome me and that I would have to find another alternative accommodation and that a note had been left in order to reimburse me. As of now (February 3), I have still not been reimbursed by this establishment. The service of an establishment is also measured by its quality when things do not go as planned.

Nice place hidden in the woods. Install some more lighting when the restaurant is open! Pizza fine and stew with boar tasty, but small portion! Right at the entrance, a guest was sitting at the high table, working and eating. He was already there before we got there and was still there when we left. We found so much "present" quite disturbing!! There is nothing for kids to do inside, not even food. Hopefully this will change.

Laat je niet misleiden door de allereerste indruk wanneer je de lodges van buiten ziet: ze zijn prachtig. Super leuk ingericht en gelegen in het groen. We verbleven zelf in lodge nr. 2 die door de ligging veel privacy bood, zalig! Van daaruit met de fiets alles vlot bereikbaar (20 min fietsen tot Arnhem centrum). Heel lekker ontbijt met super vriendelijke bediening. Kortom een oase van rust in een prachtige omgeving.

Leuk verblijf in een bosje. Niet zo ver van de ingang van het Veluwe park. Op 7 km van het centrum van Arnhem. We verbleven hier om het Airborne museum te bezoeken en het jachthuis in het nationaal park. De huisjes zien er luxueuzer uit op de foto dan in werkelijkheid. Het bed ligt goed, de douche is ruim. Het ontbijt is niet overdreven uitgebreid maar is zeker voldoende en er wordt vriendelijk opgediend.
