Nice hotel, great Sauna but beware of invisible insects that might make your stay uncomfortable. If you got a sensitive skin like me, then you will feel irritated by this. The location did not satisfy my actual need for being in Arnhem, I should have stayed in a different location more open with easy access to public transportation, restaurants and other city attractions. I had difficulty getting a taxi on the go. So, it was necessary to prebook my Uber taxis. Just ordering a taxi when it was needed was impossible. Otherwise, the hotel is neat, great hotel staff, the food was ok. The price is also great, but value for money in this case would be relative. But under the same circumstance as this trip, this hotel will not be my first choice.

This was our first driving tour to The Netherlands from the Uk. We selected this hotel based on it being in a convenient location for visiting the Arnhem and Oosterbeek Operation Market Garden historic places of interest. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was bigger than expected and was very quiet even though the hotel was very busy. The selection of fresh food available at the buffet breakfast was excellent and the lunch and evening meals were good quality at reasonable prices. Overall the standard of accommodation and quality of food and service exceeded our expectations for the price paid. We would certainly recommend this hotel and will also look at other hotels in the Van der Valk chain based on our experience at the Arnhem hotel.

The Van der Valk Hotel in Arnhem is very easy to reach from the Motorway and the room was clean and exactly what we asked for and then some. All members of staff were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. A special thank you to Roy who went out of his way and helped me to a late night snack. The breakfast was outstanding and delicious.

Stayed here for 3 nights. It was perfect as a tourist, so easy to get to the main local attractions. Nice big car park, just off main road so easy to find. Friendly staff. Huge room at the back of the hotel with small balcony. Really clean. Slightly dated decor but that was fine. We ate at the hotel on one night - it was ok.

The hotel itself looks relatively recently renovated, the staff is friendly, dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were ok. Though unfortunately, the room didn't match the pictures on the website. Rather underwhelming!
