I absolutely fell in love with this hotel. When you arrive, you feel like you're in a place of peace and tranquility.
The hotel's facilities are wonderful, with a beautiful pool and hot tub at the ideal temperature, and top-quality finishes, from the decor, bed linens to the breakfast dishes; the breakfast is excellent!
There aren't a ton of options, but everything served is of high quality and locally produced, delicious.
It's worth mentioning that the hotel's restaurant is vegetarian, so breakfast options include eggs and cheese, but no meat products. The hotel has a practically private beach, located within an ecological reserve about 10km from the center. You have to get there by a dirt road in good condition for about 5 minutes. This is the only drawback, but for everything the hotel has to offer, I wouldn't just go back, I definitely will!
The trained and super attentive staff really exceeded our expectations and we already miss it!

The resort is in a gorgeous setting along the ocean. My husband and I were there for two nights as part of a bird watching trip. Even though it is not a bird watching lodge, it was great for our purposes. We were able to see ocean birds and land birds at the adjoining nature preserve both during the day and evening. They had many yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation classes in Portuguese but we did not partake. As vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised to find the entire menu was vegetarian. Our Portuguese is weak so the waitress and we spent a bit of time trying to translate the menu into English. Things like "chick peas" are not the first thing you learn in a new language but it all worked out well and we enjoyed our meals there.

The hotel is located on Caravelas beach, about 20 minutes from Rua das Pedras in the center of Búzios. We had some problems with the room, the air conditioning didn't work, I found the bathroom very dark, and the sheets come off the bed because they are too small. The service was not very welcoming, and the vegetarian food was a bit too gourmet, with less flavor.
