Hotel Ilha Branca Inn

The hotel is not as extraordinary as they mention, the rooms have defects, the air conditioning unit is super old, it does not cool and sleeps too much, the doors do not close properly, the mattresses are sagging. Breakfast is basic, the same thing every day, for example the egg is always cold. Nobody indicates that the hotel is full of stairs so you have to go up and down with your suitcases. Overall bad experience.

I stayed from 01/08 to 01/10. The hotel is very difficult to navigate, with huge stairs. I was allocated a room almost 50 meters from reception, with no windows in the bathroom, no balcony and an intense smell of fresh paint. The pool is old and they only serve snacks until 7pm. If you want lunch or dinner you have to leave the hotel. Breakfast is desirable for a daily rate of R$ 1244.00. I pay for that at an All Inclusive. I stayed from 06/01 to 08/01 at the Hotel Pousada Experiencie, for half the price, and for 1000 at Ilha Branca Inn. I'll never go back!

They placed us at the back of the complex where a laundry should have been. It looks like an internal cabin on a cruise ship with no air, no closets, nothing, just 2 beds when I requested 2 times that we wanted 3 since we came for 10 days. Absolute mistreatment at the reception. The stairs are eternally steep and impossible for people who, in my case, are not physically fit. One of the girls had an accident yesterday and her foot is bad and she can't walk. They didn't offer her any alternative or way to get there other than walking, a nightmare. We have only one. key for 3 There are no closets and we have to leave the clothes in the suitcases for the 10 days. There are none. Cockroaches and centipedes in the cracks, bad smell in the room, clogged shower drain and flooding with no one to fix it (not even use a cloth to dry it), breakfast was varied but with poor quality products (that cheese and that ham are not enough) In short, all that was left was the courtesy and kindness of the staff. Almost 700 reais per night, my friends. My advice: avoid.
