We booked a junior suite as my husband wears a cpap at night. Great space with plenty of wardrobe space in the main room. Everything was comfortable, the beds smelled fresh & the shower over the bath was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. The all inclusive menu included one night of the seven in the al a carte restaurant and the snack bar did some great burgers. We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely & children’s pool too. There was a cocktail of the day included. We didn’t do any of the trips as we were there for a rest/ chilling time, however we did take a walk along the beach promenade until we came to a really pretty authentic beach area with bars & restaurants. Approximately 30mins in total as we kept stopping to admire the beautiful beach/views. A great place for family holidays although I think a bit too noisy for couples in the main season. Don’t let this put you off, we had a great time.

2nd year of going to this hotel, and another great holiday! They have made the pool shallower (it’s now 1.40m deep instead of 2m) which was good for the kids, but STILL too cold for me to go in! Everyone was saying- the pool really should be heated. The I for heated pool was small and perhaps over chlorinated as the kids hair and costumes went a bit green. But it would be 5* rating if outside pool was heated! There isn’t any reviews I could find here for the onsite restaurant Massa Fina, which you get 1 meal in if you stay for 7+ nights. Otherwise you have to pay to eat there. I’ve included some pictures, but overall it was quite nice and good for a break from the all inclusive food. Pizza was like a cream cracker, but tasty. Spag bol was also tasty but a little soft (like a tin of Heinz). Garlic bread was also on a cream cracker like base and not very garlicky. Only complaint was the bana and cho pizza for the kids, it was on a raw pizza base that smelt and tasted raw. So not very nice. In conclusion, we love this hotel- and the beach is only 5 mins away. There isn’t much to do along the main ***** just a few gift shops and a very nice coffee shop, so be prepared to spend your time fully in the hotel. If it rains, you’re a bit stuck but the snack bar is nice and can hang around in there. Inside pool is warm but but scabby, really wish outside was heated. Great stay and would recommend!

We stayed for a week on an AI basis. This was the 2nd time we’ve gone for AI and I am very pleased we did. I love fresh food, loads of salads and freshly cut fruit and this hotel had abundances of good quality food. If you want pie, mash and mushy peas then this isn’t the place for you. Thursday night is seafood night and I really enjoyed the oysters, clams, prawns etc. another night the theme was tropical fruits. Every lunch time and dinner they cooked fresh steaks and/fish. I loved the steaks. For me the food was simple, fresh and well cooked. Lots of choice. The apple crumb and custard was also another one of my favourites. We’ve been back a week now and I miss the delicious food so much. Staff in the restaurant couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was always kept very clean and the small fridge restocked daily. It did get busy round the pool as we went during half term but there seemed to be almost enough beds for everyone. We are not sun worshippers so happily sat in the shade reading a book. We met some many lovely people in this hotel and now have lots of new friends on FB. The walk to the nearest beach is about 5 minutes and if you walk on to the main beach area near the fishing huts there are boat trips you can go on. We went with Aurora. Please check out my review for this company as you do not want to miss going on a boat trip to the caves. It’s also worth walking to the caves which are to the right of the hotel. BUT you need to go on a boat trip to see inside them. My only gripe would be with the reception staff at this hotel. We asked a couple of days before we were due to leave if we could keep the room and kept getting told to come back. To be honest they didn’t seem very organised and weren’t very helpful. Eventually we did get to pay to keep the room but not without being told to come back to the desk and ask several times. I really don’t think this was very professional and seemed as though they were being awkward for the sake of it. The manager at this hotel was a lovely guy, couldn’t be more helpful and always had a smile on his face. Overall I loved the area Armacao de Pera as it still retains its Portuguese village charm. We did go to Albufeira for the day but didn’t enjoy it as much. More like Magaluf. But each to their own. If you want night life that’s the place to go. The entertainment at this hotel is very basic. It didn’t really bother us though as we were usually chatting to other holiday makers in the evening. A few more good singers on would be good. However I thought for the amount we made this hotel offered excellent value and one day we might return…….

Just got back from a 7 night stay at this hotel and on the whole we enjoyed our time there and in the surrounding town of Armacao De Pera. The first room we had was a twin on the 1st floor big wardrobe ( minibar/ fridge and safe are in the wardrobe) two fairly hard single beds,2 bedside cabinets, table and 2 chairs, flat screen tv, I liked the beds my wife said she found them too hard. The room itself was plenty big enough and was spotlessly clean, the maid came and cleaned every day and changed the towels daily too. the bathroom has everything you need a bath with a shower above it, toilet, bidet, a hairdryer, a large sink and a wall sized mirror. The staff also stocked up the mini bar most days with a couple of small bottles of water still & sparkling, one can of Lipton Iced tee, one, small bottle of beer, one bottle of Pepsi, the minibar is included in the price of your room. The safe you do have to pay an extra charge of €2.50 per day. The room also had a nice sized balcony overlooking the pool. We had this room ( room 104) for one night only as the pumps for the swimming pool are in the room below and there is a very noticeable humming 24 hrs a day. the staff at reception were quite quick to find us a different room when we said the humming had kept us awake at night. The second room ( 216) is a mirror image of the first room, even down to identical artwork on the walls, the only obvious difference was the lack of the continuous humming and there was no bath just a decent sized walk in shower cubicle. The all inclusive is not the best to be honest but that may be due to hotel not being that busy as it about a month before their high season starts, the breakfast food was identical every day which is fine as there is not much you can do with breakfast although it would have been nice if the food was actually hot not just lukewarm. Lunch and dinner were kind of hit and miss some days it was decent quality food (again not particularly hot) but also not very much choice, and other days the food was just not appetising and we opted to eat elsewhere. On the other hand during the day there is a pool snack bar were you could order a variety of pipping hot snacks, burgers, pizza, toasted sandwiches, fries, ice cream and slush puppies ( the slush puppies again were not included in the all inclusive) etc the snacks were tasty and freshly cooked to order. Entertain was provided but was not really to our taste so we didn't utilise the bar at night but we did frequent the pool bar open from 1o am till 6 pm there was decent quality beer , wine, and soft drinks available, there was also a small selection of local brand spirits but no cocktail list the only cocktail included with the all inclusive wrist band was the everchanging cocktail of the day. All other cocktails, quality branded spirits, bottled beers, bottled ciders and better quality wines were available to buy from both the pool bar and the main bar in the evening. The main bar is

We are currently here, lovely hotel, clean tidy, room cleaned everyday, great staff, 1 bar of a night, which means you have to queue up, entertainment if you ask me its more for men, as entertainment team are all women which are lovely, but the themed nights it's dancing and show off a lot a bums, which I find uncomfortable, there all inclusive food is really good, but the cocktails could do with improvements. Would recommend going to zoomarine if you have children they will love it, and the old town is lovely for a day out 21 euros there and back in an uber. Would recommend this hotel, and would love to come back.

We recently returned after a week's stay at this hotel , the transfer from the airport took about 45 minutes and we arrived mid morning . Thankfully our room was ready at 1.00 and we did not have to wait till 3.00 to check in. I had emailed the hotel before our stay and we were allocated a room on the fourth floor facing the pool . Room was spacious a little lacking in storage space , beds were comfy and there is a fridge with a small selection of drinks filled daily , there is also a small chargeable safe. Wi-Fi Is free throughout the hotel Breakfast and evening meals are served in the main restaurant and you have the choice of lunch at the snack bar or in the reception The snack bar serves the usual hot dogs , chips and burgers but also serves very nice salads all freshly made . We went all inclusive and the food in the main restaurant was good however choices were limited , in the main you had a choice of three proteins , two of which were cooked on the grill . We also went to the Italian for meal one night which was a bit underwhelming and the restaurant lacked atmosphere The house wine was exceptional The grounds of the hotel are kept clean and there is an animation team on hand to get you involved in games during the day . There was a good mix of nationalities staying from Brits, Irish, French , German and Scandinavians and from our perspective not too many children The thing that lets the hotel down in the quality of the evening entertainment which consisted of Bingo , Karaoke and a couple of " high school concert" sadly there are no alternatives in the main town either The hotel is ideally placed as the beach was 5 minutes away with some great beach bars and the main town is 10 minutes away with a nice walk along the promenade If you after a reasonably priced hotel and a quiet relaxing hotel then would certainly recommend this hotel , plus all the staff are helpful are caring

This was our 1st time in Portugal and 1st time staying at this hotel. Arrived around 9:30pm and was welcomed by the very friendly staff at reception, Are room was on the 5th floor and we had a great view of the pool and sea in the distance. The room itself was spacious, clean but sadly no kettle to make our morning coffee, however there was a fridge filled with a mixture of fizzy pop, water and a few bottles of beer. The room was cleaned everyday and had fresh towels. We stayed on an all inclusive for 7 nights, the wine was excellent and was from the hotels own vine yards . Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, bread, fruit, yogurts etc which suited us as too much variety only makes you eat more or waste more. The snack bar and staff we're excellent, you could pop along any time for food and drinks and a different cocktail everyday. The pool was clean and plenty of sun loungers, also the staff was always around to collect empty glasses and plates. . The day time entertainment was very poor and not much communication as to what activities were planned or get involved in. The evening entertainment was just as bad not sure what was going on apart from a few bad voices on the Karaoke. Lovely hotel and the staff were excellent, this is a good place to stay if you want a quiet relaxing holiday but if your looking for something a bit more lively, it may not be the place for you ..

A great location with some lovely views and access to local amenities such as bars, shops, restaurants, beaches. The hotel is generally clean, apart from bird poo on balcony. A mix of older people and families with children staying at the hotel. The entertainment seemed OK such as karaoke, activities for children such as archery. The room we stayed in was clean and looked very nice. Unfortunately, the food on offer wasn't very flavoursome and wasn't hot, it was actually cold-warm. Cocktails not included in all-inclusive, apart from the cocktail of day. Relatively quiet which was good as I'm not into loud and lively venues. A few people pushing in at the bar which was annoying but you get there anywhere you go. Thank you for the relaxing and pleasant stay.

I have been to quite a few all inclusive hotels in my 55 years on this earth, unfortunately this one rates very low in my ratings. If you want an all inclusive experience with relaxation, here you will find yourself queuing for drinks around the pool bar , as the organisation is terrible. The food was not good to say the least cold a lot of the time , coffee machine in the morning breaks down more than a jalopy car . The speed to replenish food that runs out very slow . If you think that getting a drink at night might be quicker, guess again more queuing, sometimes 15 minutes. Out of 11 nights all inclusive we went out 8 nights , And we was bumping into other couples in the same position. If you want 2 very hard uncomfortable beds pushed together, bird poop all over your balcony , that in 11 days never gets mopped , then this is the place for you. A 4 star hotel this is NOT .
