Hotel Jean Marie

I discovered this hotel last year, as a bike enthusiast, I wanted to do the flower cycle route and was looking for a hotel to stay in. I must say that I had a great time: clean and not at all noisy rooms, functional bathroom and friendliness of both the staff and the reception where Luca and Barbara are the real added value. Breakfast was sufficient for me personally, as regards lunch/dinner there is an agreement with a hotel of the same chain. Not even 5 minutes away from the sea, for me, having the bike in tow, a real convenience is the underground parking (for a fee). Highly recommended, so much so that after last year, I went back again and will definitely return in the coming years!

Good hotel in Arma di Taggia. Elegant building, quite large rooms, decent breakfast, very kind reception staff and professional service. Parking available for a fee, but it is not difficult to find in the area. And above all, humane rates! Return to be expected

Very kind and cheerful staff, small but clean room and very comfortable bed, a few meters from the cycle path. Bed and breakfast at an excellent price. If you come by car it's an excellent solution.

Nothing good, from the dirty blankets to the torn towels, the bathroom sink impossible to use because it sprays water everywhere, to the room in reception which also doubles as a breakfast room (with the door opening constantly) and therefore more than noisy!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

I cannot honestly attribute more than 2 stars to this property. The hotel is located about 300 meters from the sea not far from the shopping streets of Arma di Taggia. The route is quite quiet as it is also small and does not allow for a large night passage. It should be remembered that the structure is part of a network that includes Swiss hotels and arma hotels. Externally, the hotel certainly betrays its age and although (apparently) it has been recently refreshed externally, it fails to infuse the desired effect. There is a small outdoor courtyard area furnished with tables with a very small reception, also here in old age. We stayed in a room on the second floor, I must say certainly of a good size, as then as we discovered it turns out to be used for handicapped people (but I consider this a Plus substantially). The air conditioning is of the mezzanine type, the power of which unfortunately is not sufficient at least to provide cooling in hot moments. Furthermore, as usually happens, it is positioned close to the bed. The interior décor here too is in a classic dated style with bedspreads and curtains that are too out of date. The bathroom as I said and large, has a shower tray covered with a cloth which unfortunately is actually "rotten" in the lower part as shown in the photo. Breakfast is served on the ground floor being able to take advantage of both the outdoor courtyard and the small space at the home entrance. There is a self-service machine for making coffee, and some preparations of packaged and savory desserts, unfortunately not always up to the standard of good taste. I must say, however, that Nutella croissants instead turned out to be Pleasant. Restaurant located in the hotel Svizzera, about 200 m away. Very friendly service very nice staff I must say, however even here do not expect a typical restaurant standard. The menu is varied at times even imaginative, in terms of quality, however, the preparation of the food is more similar to the "canteen" we all know. A range of good quality desserts and fruit is offered for both lunch and dinner. Although the price may be competitive compared to other structures, I would not feel like recommending the structure.

It's fine for those who are satisfied without any demands but the price paid is absolutely not worth the service. Reception closes at 10pm so if you arrive late you have to look for the key somewhere and enter through a secondary gate. Terrible breakfast, pieces of cake from the day before, three slices of almost black ham, frozen products. Lady serving at breakfast who doesn't even say hello. Not recommended.
