Nice clean modern hotel. Efficient staff. Location great for passing through as it is on the ring road of Arlon, but also due to this is does feel a bit 'isolated'. Restaurant is very nice but quite pricy. Service is efficient. Would recommend fir business trips.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Switzerland. My husband ordered vol aux vent and I ordered a chicken burger with onions and fries. The vol aux vent was only luke warm and tasteless the puff pastry stone-hard. When you order a chickenburger you would expect a piece of braised chicken ( breast) and fresh fried unions. What came was an unidentified circle of some kind of meat out of the deep fryer and some ready bought fried union crumbs out of a bag. We would have eaten better ( and cheaper) if we would have stopped at the local snackbar ( frituur). Afterwards my husband was feeling sick the rest of the day and following night! This is the second time that we tried to eat at this van der Valk hotel and the second time that the food is disgusting. I don’t understand why, in other van der Valk hotels it is ALWAYS good. You would think that this van der Valk couple running this hotel was placed here in exile as a punishment by the rest of the van der Valk family or they just don’t care! i guess the latter.

A good 3 star hotel for an overnight stay. It’s between a dual carriageway and a busy A road. We heard the road noise all night even from 9th floor! Very basic rooms, awful food, couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Upon our arrival in Belgium we spent our first night in the hotel Van Der Valk. Modern hotel, and not far away from our friends we had to visit. The rooms were very nice and immaculate, the beds were very good, and the breakfast was very good too. The hotel has a large private and free parking for customers. The staff is also very friendly and personable, this hotel is definitely recommended for a stay of one or two nights.

Excellent stay! Spacious, clean and modern accommodation. Very pleasant bar with large selection of cocktails and good service. Large buffet selection for breakfast. Good parking facility on the premises. All and all an excellent hotel!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very spacious rooms, fabulous contemporary decor and great food. Large free car park. Staff excellent. Huge rooms with very comfortable beds. Thoughtful design with plugs by beds and spotlessly clean. The breakfast display and choice was the best I've seen in a long time for a hotel.

I had heard good things about this hotel so I booked one night on our trip from France to NL. The hotel itself is very nicely done and staff are friendly and polite. However we had two issues, one was the most uncomfortable soft beds that ever had in a hotel or anywhere. We couldn’t get comfortable at all so spent most of the night awake sitting on the settee. My back is still painful. I have no idea if all the beds are like these or whether these were old and lost their support. Plus why one huge fat pillow, not two so you can make a choice. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant. Very poor! The steak was quite tasteless and the schnitzel also lacked flavor. The side salads looked like old leaves had been thrown into the bowl and dressing squirted over to disguise. The manager spoke to us and offered something else but we settled on another glass of wine. So… no fault of the staff at all but very mediocre food for the price! Breakfast was excellent however at no time did anyone clear up the used dishes. If we use Van der Valk again it will be the one in Eindhoven which is excellent and you get a good nights sleep in comfortable beds which is often why you break up your journeys.
