The cedar log cabin was built for our Grandpa in 1983. The living area is open and inviting with a fireplace built using field stones collected on the family farm. It features a newly renovated kitchen with all of the utensils you might need to create meals during your stay. The cabin has central air/heat. Enjoy sitting on the covered front porch that looks out over the wooded yard which includes a swing set/play fort for kids. The back deck includes a gas grill (small charcoal grill is also available), table and chairs. Surrounded by a split rail fence, the back yard looks out over a wild flower field where deer are sighted almost daily. Spend the evenings by an outdoor fire (pit and wood provided) and enjoy roasting marshmallows and gazing at the stars. Grandpa’s cabin has been the setting that holds so many wonderful memories for our family.
