Ashdown Park Hotel

Went to the Ivy Bar for lunch with family. Food was nice but very busy and delay in drinks. Needs a bit of TLC in general. We have been to the Ivy Bar before and service was a lot better. Would have given 4 stars otherwise Will come back because we all can have "one of those days" Prices are ok

Just back from an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel , place ut spotless and the decor is so beautiful , All the staff were so helpful and friendly especially Donna on reception, We had a lovely meal with excellent service , all the outdoor seating areas are so well kept n maintained, we also had a spa treatment this was such an enjoyable experience the girls Robyn n Nichola could not do enough to make us feel so relaxed n pampered , again the decor here has such a tranquil feeling from the minute you walk in and again the place is spotless , I definitely cannot wait to return and i have told all my friends n family about the fantastic experience we had here Regards Jennifer

A hotel which gets all the basics right, offering exceptional customer service and creating a most relaxing environment for whole families to enjoy. All generations will savour mouth-watering food, while a gem of a kids' club will attract children back time after time, not to mention a pool at comfortable temperature and steamy hot showers. We are back year after year and never disappointed!

The staff are this hotels best asset. Across the board in all areas of the hotel we were so impressed with the customer service we received. The spa was exquisite and the pool is great too. There was a 3 course meal and a cocktail included in our package which we had in The Ivy Bar. The meal was ok, not at the same standard as the breakfast which was fantastic the following morning, so much choice and delicious. The rooms were spotless and beds comfy. A very pleasant stay was had and we would most definitely recommend it.

When we arrived and went to our room we had a very nice large toom. However there were 2 used bath robs left in the wardrobe and they were advised and replaced them. The following night it was my wife’s birthday and we had already 3 course meal with the package we booked the ivy bar and advised that my wife as Ceolic When we ordered our starter my wife advised the server that she was ceolic and. Also to make sure there was no ground pepper on the mains . I had ordered a chicken burger and chips When the started for my wife came out. It had sough dough bread which was not gluten free and was brought back They came back with the re fired mussels and half of them were not opened so not cooked. Manager was told . The main course for my wife came out looked nice however the burger was laced with pepper and also sent back. The manager came out and had advised that the burger was brought in and had already been seasoned with salt and pepper., My wife then had had fish with potatoes and veg . Veg was not particularly nice but the fish was lovely. The mashed potatoes was very very salty My main meal came out and was looking forward to the chicken burger as chicken is my favourite , this was very disappointing as the chicken burger was to have a milk batter this was half missing and very soggy bun I did only eat half of it. This was a very disappointing meal as it was my wife’s birthday .

lovely hotel great spa deals , restaurant staff were so helpful and we really enjoyed the pool and facials and massages in the spa ! would highly recommend for a couples trip . Clean rooms nice food and lovely cocktails , great atmosphere . Spa ie vouchers are accepted !

We have just returned from four day stay. We booked two double rooms and a family room for my daughter and three children. Party of 5 adults and 3 children. My mother had a room and was upgraded, the service was excellent, the staff were attentive to every need or request. We ate jn the dining room every night as it was very comfortable and food delicious. Tapas night and music was fab My granddaughter really enjoyed the bunkbeds and said give them a five. Would recommend for families and lots to do in the area. Thanks for a lovely break.

We stayed in this hotel recently and it was a lovely experience. Sinead the on duty manager who looked after us on check in when we had issues with our booking was fantastic and sorted everything so fast and looked after every aspect without any problems and whisked us off to our room in a matter of minutes. She was fantastic and so approachable and friendly. Thank you Sinead. Only only criticism I had was at dinner, our desserts never arrived after 40 mins and there was issues with our bill at the end on both nights, however this did not tarnish our experience. I would write this off to how busy it was to be fair.

We went on 2nd August and stayed a 3 nights, fabulous hotel. Staff were so friendly from management to housekeeping. Breakfast was great and we were there as guests to wedding and the service at our wedding meal was excellent. Food delicious.
