Oceanis Luxury Suites

This is the most incredible apartment we have had the pleasure of staying in. If you’re after a peaceful retreat look no further it’s quiet it’s private and absolutely 5 star. If you want to explore the island then car hire is recommended however within a 10 minute walk we found 3 restaurants, 2 cafes, a great little supermarket and a bakery. Nikos our host was amazing he provided everything we needed including a well stocked fridge, he is extremely attentive and nothing is too much trouble. If you want recommendations he’s the man, you want car hire, boat hire, boat trips, taxis, a private chef or even a doctor just a phone call to Nikos and its done. We have spent a week here and it has been incredible he has made our trip unforgettable and we cannot thank him enough, will be coming back.
Sunrise Zante - Adults Only Hotel

Hotel Lovely small hotel with a good size pool area. Lots of sunbeds available however I could see the sun bed rush being an issue during peak season. Large room however we were gifted the “rooster suite” which benefitted from 247 rooster callings from the nearby chicken farm. Multiple Roosters who have no idea of time so they just call all day and night! We had a storm on the first evening and the whole room was flooded - the staff dealt with this quickly and efficiently. Hotel is a good 25 minutes walk to the beach, 20 minutes to bars and restaurants. Staff Most staff are wonderful and so friendly. The ladies in the bar/restaurant always greeted you with a smile and always helpful. They are an absolute asset to the hotel. As was the friendly gardener. The manager on reception and his PA were not the most friendly. No have you had a nice stay , we are happy to welcome you back should you decide to return. No they just handed us our restaurant bill, we paid and that was it. I think the customer service on reception could do with improving. Food Some of the best food I’ve had from a Greek hotel. So many delicious things available and at amazing prices and as always - served with a smile. Would I return? Resort /island yes, hotel no. Bit too far out the resort and the customer service from the manager would need improving .
Cavo Orient Beach Hotel & Suites

We visited at the end of August as a family of 4. We booked a private pool room in the annex on an all inclusive base. First of all, let me say that we had a fantastic time. I will try to be objective. We are a French/British family and we have done similar holidays over the years… This is a very chilled hotel. A real mix of Europeans and no crazy loud entertainment until 1 am. If you want to party, it’s probably not for you. We booked this hotel in particular for the private pool, and it did not disappoint! We were in the annex ( room 904) and we had the sun on the pool most of the day. With a little wildlife in front which was great as we got to see hummingbirds. We loved the pool. The highlight of the holiday. I would say that the private pools in the main building were far more overlooked and not as much sun exposure. We never had to fight for a sun bed. Plenty by the pool and the beach. The beach is pebbles and I would recommend some beach shoes. The water is lovely and warm and plenty of fish to look at. The all inclusive food was good for a buffet. A lot of choice. Sea food, fish, Meat, Greek food and the usual fries and sausages ect… One dinner included at the a la carte restaurant which was nice . The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom is only separated with glass doors so the toilet situation was rather funny at times. As a mother of 2 , I have given up on privacy a long time ago so it didn’t bother me. The walls are very thin though. We were lucky that our neighbours were quiet people. The staff were lovely. Dimitri and his Team at the restaurant were so warm and friendly. Same goes for the pool staff. Always a kind word for the children. My daughter insisted on saying goodbye to everybody as she had such a blast chatting with everyone most days. There was only one thing that was an issue for me. As mentioned we were in the annex wich is a 5 minutes walk. I knew about it and I have no problem with that. I was expecting a walk between the olive trees to go to the main building, but it turns out that we had to walk on the road which I didn’t love. To be fair, there is a car to take you up and down if you don’t want to walk. I normally would let my 11 years old walk back to a hotel room on his own, but in this case it felt unsafe. Saying that I would still choose the annex over the main building as it was much more private.
AluaSoul Zakynthos - Adults Only - All Inclusive

We recently stayed at AluaSoul Zakynthos. While the resort offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views, several aspects fell short of our expectations. Drinks: A major issue during our stay was the complete lack of real fruit juice, despite it being listed as part of the all-inclusive package. Every ”juice,” whether served at breakfast or in cocktails, was actually synthetic squash. For breakfast, this was especially shocking, as orange juice is a basic expectation, yet guests were expected to drink synthetic squash instead. Under EU law, if a menu advertises fruit juice, it must be 100% fruit juice—not a substitute like squash or other artificial mixtures. This misleading practice is concerning and could be a breach of EU regulations on accurate representation of products in all-inclusive packages. We had carefully checked the menus before booking, and they clearly stated that fruit juice would be available and that cocktails were made with fruit juice. Had we known there would be no real juice available and all cocktails would be made with synthetic squash, we would not have booked. We highlighted this issue to management early in our stay, and while they assured us they would attempt to rectify it for the next season, this response didn’t help us during our time there. Due to the synthetic, overly sweet taste, we found ourselves avoiding fruit-based cocktails altogether, this was not easy with the already small cocktail offering. We even ended up going out to a local shop to purchase real orange juice for breakfast, as it was totally unavailable at the resort. For a Hyatt property, we expected far better quality and transparency. Additionally, although we knew before booking that the cocktail selection for My Favourite Club guests would be identical to the standard all-inclusive options, it was still disappointing to experience this firsthand. It would have been a welcome enhancement to see a few additional options for club guests—not necessarily requiring top-shelf liquor but simply expanding the options and using natural ingredients. Basic cocktails like mojitos, for instance, were not included, which felt like a missed opportunity to elevate the premium experience. Rooms: We stayed in a My Favourite Club room, one of the refurbished rooms, which makes the maintenance issues even more concerning. While the bedroom itself was comfortable and the bed was lovely, the bathroom's condition did not meet the expected standard for a 4-star property. The toilet seat didn't fit properly and was stained, the mosquito net was broken, and there were noticeable gaps around an electric plug near the sink, which felt unsafe. Additionally, the balcony drainage grate was broken with sharp edges, presenting a potential hazard. For a newly refurbished room, these issues were unexpected and disappointing. Food: The buffet offered a limited selection but was well-prepared and presented, and we enjoyed the inclusion of traditional Greek desserts as part
