Very nice hotel with a beautiful mountain view. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Staff was super helpful and friendly and gave us very useful tips for our walks. I would certainly recommend this small hotel to my family and friends.

A very nice small hotel with mountain views and amazing staff. Breakfast had great variety & quality - and a good coffee machine. Reception also provided a map and helped us plan our trip. Great vibes all around and value for money, considering prices in the area!

A lovely hotel! it was the best hotel in our 14 days trip. All facilities are new and the rooms are super clean. Good shower, disinfected toilet, good heating, comfortable bed, there’s even a mini fridge, luxury smelled soap. The breakfast was excellent fresh and tasty with variety such as Greek salad, home made pastries, cereal, yogurt, and omelates made on the spot. Vasilis is such a kind person, he gave us extra towels in a bag to take to the rafting and took care of everything. Big thank you from the Danons :)

We stayed in this magnificent hotel for five nights during the Christmas holidays of 2022! We really loved the place. Very nice rooms (we had actually a family room which consisted for two individual rooms next to each other). Everything was very well cleaned and well attended. Heat was perfect and the fireplace amazing. But above all, the owners and his wife professionalism and hospitality were impeccable. Nice cosy breakfast too. We would certainly come again and thank you Gamila Rocks for having us!

We stayed in 2 rooms for 5 nights. We were very well looked after by the manager and owner of the hotel. He could never do enough to make our stay perfect. We had a wonderful time in the mountains - walking, rafting and sightseeing. It was made perfect by Vasilis who was always so attentive to our needs and was always happy and smiling. Would love to go back in the near future, The hotel rooms were very clean and pleasant to stay in. We did not want for anything while staying in the hotel.

The rooms are fantastic, we got 2 rooms, the suite and a regular room. The beds are comfortable, the AC is great and there are also windows (with nets) and ceiling fans if you prefer it over AC. The rooms are cleaned daily, there's always hot water, the pastries in breakfast are baked fresh every day by the owner's wife, and you can have fresh omelettes on top of the usual breakfast items. The overall mood of the hotel is very relaxed, so it's a fantastic experience. On top of that, the best thing about this hotel is the owner, Vasilis. He helped us around when we had questions, he gave us suggestions, he helped us book restaurants and different experiences, he made the entire vacation stress-free, so we could relax and have fun, and he was very helpful with checkout times because of our late flight. Will definitely come here again the next time we're in the area.

Lovely cozy hotel with a warm welcome of the owner Vasilis who took care of every detail to make you feel at home. The room is large and give a feeling that you want to stay there. The hotel is close to 2 taverns of the small village of Arisiti. The homemade breakfast was great.

The hotel is very beautiful and well decorated. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and has all the amenities we need, including great storage, comfy bad, spacious shower, refrigerator and water supply every day, coffee machine, air conditioning and good wifi. We also used the laundry service and it was great. The breakfast was excellent, rich and tasty. Every day there was a different homemade pastry of Vasilis wife and it was very tasty. Vasilis gave us great tips and recommendations about restaurants and places including specific directions, and it was always with a smile and kindness. The location is excellent, in the center of the village and close to many attractions and other villages. We will sure recommend this amazing hotel and come back again to the area and to this hotel.

What is so special about "Gamila Rocks Mountain Hotel" in Aristi, Zagoria villages, North Greece? Well, this hotel has a unique added value; I'll come to it later. The location is great, in the village center, near 2 restaurants and can be easily accessed all Zagoria's top attractions. The room is spacious, very clean, good storage space, and has all the needed utility, the bed is very large and super comfy with soft linens. It has a fridge with daily water supply and a safe. The bathroom has rain forest shower with very strong hot water pressure. The towels are thick and soft and the view from the room is great. The breakfast is rich with many varieties, eggs for order in many styles, different types of coffee, home made cakes and marmalades, and much more. Nice lobby with pleasant atmosphere, where you can relax after a long day. All the above can be found in many good hotels, but this hotel has a person called Vasilis. This hotel is run and managed by Vasilis and his lovely wife. Vasilis is always around, efficient, polite with a great smile, helping in parking, carrying luggage, explaining to every guest about the breakfast variety, and remembering the next morning that my wife asked for almond milk. You need advice about routes and attractions, Vasilis is there. Wherever you go in the hotel, you will see him. We've been in hundreds of hotels worldwide; this was really outstanding and made our vacation so great. I strongly recommend this hotel. Dr. Jacob Sagie, ISRAEL

The hotel is situated in a very convenient and quiet position in Aristi, which is itself well positioned to tour the area of Zagorohoria. The hotel is well equipped, and has an excellent lift. The rooms are well furnished and modern, whilst retaining an older ambience. The staff are exceptional, and service is excellent. The scenery immediately surrounding the hotel is stunning. We only stayed for 2 nights, but wish that we were able to stay longer.

This wonderful inn is perfectly appointed with careful attention to even the smallest detail. The public areas and rooms are lovely and very comfortable, and there are many nice amenities. The food is delicious and abundant, and they will do your laundry at a very reasonable price. Most of all, the hospitality was warm, gracious and sincere. This is a perfect accommodation choice in this area.

Location: The hotel is situated in the village of Aristi and this is a great place to visit Vikos Gorge and the surroundings. You need at least two full days (3 nights) to discover the area. Within walking distance you will find the main square of Aristi with some charming restaurants. Check in: Feels like arriving with friends. Vasilis was waiting for us, helped us park the car and showed us our rooms. Very warm and welcoming feeling. Rooms: Cozy and clean rooms with comfortable beds and in the bathroom an excellent shower. Breakfast: Great breakfast with plenty of fresh made food. The pies were amazing. We were lucky to be able to eat outside on the balcony with great views of the mountains. Service: From early in the morning till late at night, Vasilis and his wife are busy giving a perfect service. Vasilis has so many tips for walks and things to discover in the surroundings. They also provide a shuttle service to visit Vikos Gorge for a very reasonable price. There are no taxis in the village. Vasilis did part of his studies in Belgium and speaks excellent English so very easy to communicate as well. Surroundings: We started our day in Thessaloniki and made a stop in Vergina, Metsovo and Lake Ioannina and we arrived in the late afternoon. On the second day we drove to Monodendri with our rental car and we walked the Vikos Gorge. After the walk, Vasilis picked us up, dropped our son and myself at the hotel, and drove my husband to Monodendri to pick up the car. On the third day, we drove to Agios Minas and we did the walk to Kleidonia's bridge. This walk took us 3 hours in stead of the 5 hours that are mentioned at the beginning of the walk. After the walk we drove to Megalo Papigo to have lunch there. We did not want to return to the hotel yet and drove to Vradeto. This drive will take you about 1.15 hours. There we did the walk to Beloi viewing point. This is certainly worth the walk and the views are amazing. We regret we did not have the time any more to walk the Vradeto stairs. On the way back to the hotel we made a stop at Kipi to view the bridges. In fact, you could easily spend an extra day in this area because our program was quit heavy but we are happy with all the things we ended up discovering. So we want to thank Vasilis and Stella for their hospitality and great service.
