Dionysos Village Resort…… where to start. We first visited Dionysos 2 years back for about an hour as a potential venue for a wedding. At the time I had no intention of getting married here as it is up a very big hill……… fast forward 2 years and we have just come to the end of a fantastic week long stay where we got married at the resort. Firstly the hill, get over yourselves, I did. As soon as you get to the top the view is absolutely stunning and it is clear Dionysos village is exceptionally well kept and managed. We have stayed in a number of hotels in Lassi over the past 20 years and this is the best hotel by a big margin. We stayed in one of the junior suites which was superb, modern and spotlessly clean with an amazing balcony and stunning view. Friends and family stayed in other rooms and all had nothing but good things to say about the accommodation. The pool area is a great place and is very relaxed with no fight for Sunbeds at any time of day. The bar area is likewise a very relaxed place to enjoy the views and chill out with friends and family. Breakfast is decent and sets you up for the day in a clean area. Every member of the team from grounds staff, to cleaners, to reception and the great bar team were friendly, helpful and polite. If you’re wondering about the hill, lots of people use a hire car which the hotel helped us arrange prior to our visit and cabs cost 7 euro down and 8 euro up at night. Walking down is not a problem at all, coming back up…. Well we gave it a miss. Regarding our wedding, Maria (the owner) fully planned everything meticulously. The whole day, the flowers, the food, the setting, the DJ, the fireworks, I could go on and it could not have been better. It was exactly as we had hoped. Both we and our guests loved the day and I could not recommend Maria more as a wedding planner. Overall, whether it’s for a holiday, a wedding or both, Dionysos Village Resort is simply fantastic. We would like to pass on our gratitude in particular to Maria, Georgia and Maria 2 for everything they did before and during our stay, a massive thank you to all from Paul and Terri. We look forward to returning in the future.

A stunning hilltop location and the pool area is fabulous. If you want a good hotel, slightly out of the way then this is the hotel for you. The rooms are basic, they could do with updating but have everything you need. Fresh towels & bed made daily, standard clean. Reception staff are so helpful, pool hire towels can be changed as many times during your stay and its 10 euros cost. Breakfast is pretty standard too for Greek hotels, great coffee but lovely and relaxinglooking out to sea. Pool bar & food pretty average too, offering you salads, sandwiches, pizza but very pricey and small sizes, this let's it down a bit as the pool area is so clean, plenty of beds, pool is an excellent size. Walking down the hill in to Lassi is OK but walking back up in any heat is hardwork and challenging. But always local taxis 7/8 euros by Costa Costa Beach. On a night, order from your restaurant or bar as no taxis on an evening, just waiting, as all so very busy. We did walk up in an evening a few times but as the holiday went on, it seemed to get harder. If you've got a car hire, its happy days for you!

Just spending last couple of hours and this resort. Outstanding hotel, spotlesly clean, fantastoc staff from cleaners, bar staff and owners. Pool is amazing with stunning views. Lassi has some superb restraunts and bars. We never had a bad meal during the week we were here. The Greek night at the hotel on a Monday night is great, lovely food and entertainment. Breakfast is what you would expect and is really tasty, sets you up for the day (bacon is lovely) Rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day. We have a 7pm pick for the airport and being able to keep our room till that time for a 35 Euro charge made our last day less stressful. Thanks to all staff at this amazing hotel for being so polite and diligent, they really do go above and beyond and nothing is to much trouble. Our first time here but will definatly be back.

First time visiting this hotel the views are outstanding the pool was brilliant lots of beds which you don't need to reserve with towels lots of room around the pool area so not cramp in. The staff were great and friendly. Hard working staff always friendly. The room was great with fridge and kettle but no coffee or tea so need to buy at shop down the hill not one on site. Room was cleaned everyday and room had beautiful views too. The only thing was this hotel hasn't got a restaurant now like it is stated in the description heard it closed 3 years ago. Needs to be amended. The only food offered is at the pool bar which is basic. So needed to walk down the steep hill to restaurants and pay 8 euros to get back up the hill. The only 1 night of entertainment is on Monday Greek nite so its a shame the hotel don't do more nites of entertainment to keep people in hotel bar. The breakfast was basic not much choice of fresh fruit apart from watermelon it was tinned or dried fruits. The hotel could think about maybe a shuttle mini bus for people who wants to go up and down the hill and maybe a little shop to sell basic essentials. Can't valut the staff they were great and the chap who looks after the pool areas is so hard working. Lots of good points.

A very nice hotel with great facilities and staff. Our room was basic (others looked like they had been updated) it was very clean and the linen and towels were changed regularly. The views from everywhere in the hotel are amazing!! Every room has a terrace or balcony viewing the sea. Breakfast, the pool and the bar overlook the sea. Because of the amazing views you do need to go uphill and there is a steep hill to the hotel, but with sensible footwear it's doable. About 11 mins down and 15 ish up depending on the time of day. The bit from the main road and the final climb to the hotel are steep but the rest of the walk is ok. If you are able bodied and fairly fit then shouldn't be a problem. Don't attempt in flip flops though! At the bottom of the hill there are 2 supermarkets so stock up with what you need and get a taxi up (€8 in the day). Breakfast was good (despite reading some reviews). Tea, coffee, juice, toast cooked breakfast ( items differed daily) cakes and pastries, dried fruit, cereal, yogurt etc. The pool bar serves a good lunch too. We would definitely return here.

All the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and attentive. (Georgia, in reception) especially for agreeing to continue to feed the Cats after our departure (left her some bags of food). Outside our Hotel room the most friendliest cats turned up morning and evening and we so enjoyed looking after them. This Hotel has to have one of the Cleanest Pool areas I have ever used in a Hotel. In fact, the whole Hotel and complex was IMMACULATE. Only downside, because of the amazing view is the hill walk back to the Hotel. So I recommend walking down and taxi back!! See you again!!

Lovely hotel built into the hillside. If you have mobility problems then this hotel is not for you. There is a hill to access the hotel, we walked down every day (11 mins) and up several times. A taxi is 8 euro from lassi. If you wear sensible footwear (not flip flops) the hill is doable. The hotel is totally worth it. Great space around the pool (no getting up early for a sun bed). Lovely breakfast and great food and drink around the pool.

Such a lovely hotel. Really good rooms, excellent breakfast etc. Our room was a bur dated but cleaned to a high standard daily. People mention 'the hill' it really isn't that bad!! 11 mins to walk down (you do need decent shoes, I.e.not flip flops) if you have proper shoes there is very steep bit from the hotel but after this it was easily walkable. We would definitely return here as the hotel was amazing.

Arriving late due to jet 2 delay a bit disappointing to find nowhere in the hotel to grab water for the room as the night bar was shut etc.Usered to the room by the night porter & not much information. The next day, opening the blinds certainly made up for the poor start.Overall rooms ok (ours not refurbished).Breakfast was OK the same every day so got boring .Pool area fantastic with beautiful views & a friendly bar. The hill, no worries, walking down but need to get a cab back up sometimes twice a day so costs add up . Overall, it was a great place but next time, I would stay closer to the resort center if returning .
