Lassi Hotel

Amazing hotel, the location is peaceful and all the people who work here are so friendly. Great breakfast, fabulous pool and the best views from the sea view balcony. Highly recommended this hotel if you like peace and quiet but so close to the beaches and restaurants.

Just returned from the Lassi hotel after two weeks 07/07/25 Had a great time the hotel was very clean and tidy and all the staff were very friendly , we had a room over looking the sea and it was beautiful The breakfast was very good lots of chose. There was some down sides when we arrives we had to pay the tourist tax , safe, air con and THE FRIDGE totalling nearly 200euros before we got to our rooms ,we have never paid for a fridge before! (, it was a bit like the carry on camping film with mr scripps) Lassi is a very nice resort with lots of places to eat It was about a 10 minute walk into the resort centre up a hill in the blistering heat, all the people were very friendly in and around the hotel Kefalonia is a very hilly and beautiful island

We are currently staying at the Lassi hotel and have found this week fabulous. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is lovely and caters for most tastes. Our room is clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view which was unexpected but has added to our experience here. The local shop “The Dolphin” is a short walk all be it up the hill is well stocked with all the essentials. There are 2 beaches within walking distance one from the back of the hotel and one from the front. There is also a little taverna overlooking the sea which is beautiful. Sun beds are 20 euro for the day and 15 at the other. There are refreshments available on both beaches which are reasonably priced. The negatives for me was that on arrival we were told that the air con and fridge and safe would incur further charges. It basically worked out to an additional 60 euros. The latter we are used off but not the fridge and air con. ( my thoughts would be just add it to the price of the holiday then it wouldn’t be an issue. That aside you also need to pay a tourist tax of 35 euros for the week for 2 people. We are missing a trick in the UK eh ? I have got to say that this week has been a lovely weeks holiday and despite my negatives it hasn’t spoilt our holiday. Lovely Island lovely people xxx

super friendly ran hotel,ideal location for walking into Argostoli and bars etc great breakfast included and a excellent swimming pool,we only stayed four nights as we extended our holiday from a different resort but thoroughly enjoyed it here,great value for money

My wife are hear right now and getting to the end of out stay. The hotel is in a fairly quiet location on the Argostoli side of Lassi. It's very near two small beaches that are only minutes from the hotel. We were greeted by a staff member and shown to our room. Nice touch. The room has a sea view on the second floor, with a lovely new bathroom with some quality loo paper. That's a first in Greece. The beds (as there were two in our room) were comfortable and the air conditioning was spot on. It's easy to work. You will pay extra for air conditioning. It's well worth it. There's the choice of a safe and fridge, again at extra choice. My only gripe was the additional charges. The hotel really needs to include A/C, a safe and a fridge in with the room price. Just add the cost on so that customers don't need to pay €102 for additions and the local tax on arrival for a week's stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It's compact but there's something for everyone. There was plenty of choice and good areas to sit, even outside. Nice coffee too. The bar serves some snacks for lunch and a glass of wine was €4. They also do draught and bottles beers and cider etc. The pool area was spotless. The pool itself was very clean and it was cooler in the morning and heated up during the day. It was perfect all day. Bring your own towels. The staff are simply wonderful. You can go outside the hotel and turn left up a fairly long hill to the supermarket on the main street. Very few residents went that way as there was another, easier alternative. Go out the back of the hotel and up the path behind the pool. Get to the end of the path then turn right then go up a short hill and then turn right. You're then at the supermarket or the main road. It's way easier plus the path is well lit on your return. It's a 20 minutes walk to Argostoli. Alternatively, go by taxi. It's €8 and 3.5 minutes away. There is a taxi rank on Argostoli's main square. We chatted to many residents at the pool. The consensus was the same. They loved the hotel and it's location. We are planning another trip to the Lassi Hotel very soon. Perfect!

This is a family run, friendly hotel and perfect for a restful holiday. We received a very warm welcome and this continued during our stay. The hotel is set halfway down from the main road through Lassi and the sea. Yes, there is an incline down from the road and another to reach the beach but my husband and I are in our late seventies and didn't experience any problems. Those with mobility issues may find it a challenge. Having said that, other hotels in the area have a much steeper slope to contend with. There are three breakfast areas, one inside where the food is, an outside covered terrace that faces the sea and a side terrace if you prefer to sit in complete shade. There is plenty of choice for breakfast, including hot and cold food. It is possible to get a lunchtime snack to eat round the pool and there is a supermarket at the top of the hill on the corner of the main road through Lassi, with others further along the *****. The bus stop is situated nearby. The swimming pool at the back of the hotel is well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas as well as toilets/showers/changing rooms. There is also a separate shaded area under a pergola or a couple of olive trees to sit under if you prefer. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the front of the hotel and the sea. There is a tourist tax of 5 euros per night and we paid extra for a safe and the fridge (10 and 15 euros respectively per week. We did not need air conditioning as there was usually a cooling breeze at night. Towards the end of our stay, the temperature rose to the mid 30's for the last two days but we managed to cope. Mention has been made of the cats. We counted six or seven of them in total roaming around the grounds but they are well cared for by the owner of the hotel. Previously feral cats, he feeds them in order to gain their trust and takes them to the vet in order to get them spayed/neutered which is a very responsible thing to do. They did not cause any problems.
