Entrance , grounds, position are all very good. Long promenade around to harbour, A bit of a walk to town area. Rooms overlooking sea are worth it for the view. Rooms: We booked a double room salon with balcony with sea view. Balcony fine. Toilet separate, which isn’t too hygienic as you have to come out to wash your hands in bathroom. Bathroom tiny, shower very small, I struggled and I’m petite, the shelving and towel rails (plus toilet paper holder) are sharp ended large metal . Quite dangerous, I hurt my self on the shower one. Bedroom part very small, you had to walk sideways to get past the bottom of the bed to the door etc, watching you didn’t hit your head on the Tv sticking out on wall. The steps down to the small salon area are deep and the sill of the patio doors are quiet high so if you have mobility issues or skin/flesh sensitivity you would be better with another type of room or hotel. The bed was the most hardest uncomfortable we have ever tried to sleep on. The manager kindly obtained a mattress topper which made it slightly more bearable. The room desperately needs an upgrade and/or re-figuration. The restaurant was okay, staff, like all the staff very helpful and pleasant. Choice on menu very small, so was the portions. If you didn’t like what was on offer you had a bit of a walk to find anywhere else. All in all we would not go back. It didn’t suit us but if you have no food, mobility or skin/flesh issues you may be okay.
